Camellya Character Guide

WuWa. Wuthering Waves Camellya Guide Character Build. Havoc DPS. Skill Priority.

Camellya is a 5-star character that wields a Sword and uses Havoc as her elemental damage. She is a DPS that has wide cleaving attacks and can suspend herself with vines for aerial combat.

Pros – Wide AoE attacks great for fighting multiple foes, avoids ground attacks by floating permanently.

Cons – Consumes a lot of stamina to move with her vines. Takes up a lot of field time because she needs to charge two full Concerto bars for her rotation.

Team Compositions – Camellya wants allies that buff her Basic Attack Damage, and those that do not take much time to do their rotations so that she can have more time on field.

Skills and Playstyle

Basic Attack – A five attack chain which can be held after the third part of the chain to continuously spin, dealing slightly more damage.

Resonance Skill (E) – Deal damage then enter Blossom Mode which attaches Camellya to vines, allowing her to perform extra attacks while suspended in the air. Perform the same Basic Attack chain combo while in Blossom Mode and hold it to spin for a while until you release the button.

Attacks are stronger while in Blossom Mode and avoid ground attacks, but will cost extra Stamina and limit your mobility. You can dodge while suspended in Blossom Mode to move and evade attacks at the cost of Stamina. Camellya will remain in this stance even through character swaps. Use the Resonance Skill again or Jump to leave Blossom Mode.

Concerto Resonance – When at full Concerto Energy, the Resonance Skill will light up and using it will consume your Concerto to deal a heavy damaging attack while entering Camellya into Budding Mode. This gives her other attacks a 50% damage bonus.

Forte Circuit – Using Basic Attacks or the spinning attack will consume the Crimson Pistil Forte to grant extra Concerto Energy and Resonance Energy. The Forte resource is gained by using her Intro or Concerto Resonance skill and each grants the maximum of 100 stacks of Forte. When consuming these stacks, 10 stacks will translate into 1 stack of Crimson Bud. Crimson Buds do nothing until using the Concerto Resonance Skill which will convert the stacks into an extra 5% damage bonus.

Gain the Crimson Bud stacks by entering with her Intro

Resonance Liberation (R) – Hits for heavy damage and grants 20 Concerto Energy.

Skill Priority

Although Camellya’s rotation is simple, it depends on reaching certain thresholds which can happen at different times. Always prefer to begin with her Intro, as that is the only way to get her Forte fast enough. Then enter Blossom Mode (E) if you weren’t already and consume her Forte by using the Basic Attacks or spin with the Heavy Attack until you have 10 stacks of Crimson Bud (seen above the health bar) and full Concerto. Then use the Concerto Resonance skill (E) and the Resonance Liberation (R) right after while you have the buff. Continue to use Basic Attacks until you can refill your Concerto, then Echo Skill (Q) and Outro in that animation.

Simplified Rotation

  • Intro > Basic Attacks until Full Concerto/10 Crimson Bud
  • Concerto Resonance (E) > R > Basic Attacks until Full Concerto
  • Q > Outro

Intro – Grants 100 Crimson Pistils of her Forte resource.

Outro Skill – Deals heavy damage and will do even more if her Concerto Resonance has been used this swap.

Should you try to pull extra sequences for Camellya?

All sequences provide decent damage bonuses without changing her playstyle much. However, the sixth sequence provides by far the most damage increase and makes her playstyle more involved while also allowing you to keep her in Budding Mode longer which means you won’t need to swap as often. Unless you want to go all the way to the final sequence, these are all optional.
