GW2. Best Open World Build. Celestial Elementalist Open World. Core Elementalist PvE.
The Celestial Elementalist is an Open World hybrid build that is versatile while not becoming overly complicated. It can passively heal itself while dealing damage, and has great sustained damage over time. The survivability and mobility are also great, but the only issue is that it can be susceptible to CC. Auras grant condition cleansing and protection, and these can be gained by using any signet or the Air 3 and Water 4 skill. Recasting any of these aura skills will transmute them for extra effects.
Swap between Fire and Earth attunement to deal damage, then Air if you need CC or mobility, and Water for extra cleanses and healing.
Skill Rotation
- Use Signet of Fire and Glyph of Elementals whenever possible
- Fire 2 > 3 > 5 > 2 > 4 > Swap Earth
- Earth 2 > 4 > 5 > 3 > 2 > Swap Fire
Try to swap attunement while in the middle of a longer cast skill at the end of that attunement’s rotation to begin your attunement cooldowns faster. Use Glyph of Elementals in Fire Attunement for extra damage or in Water Attunement for more sustain. Keep recasting the elite skill to trigger the elemental’s powerful spell as well as your Arcane Shield.

I’m trying this build out and i’m a bit confused i have full celestial like you but only like 18.5k HP while in the youtube video you are at 21k HP
What am i missing?
Probably the Jade Bot Core, you can check that I added it as the alternatives. But with 18,5k HP you are fine anyway.
Hi, thank you for this build! Was the rune of Balthazar taken instead of Trapper due to its accessibility? Would this work better with Trapper?
Yes, the burning will overcap by 12% with Balthazar, but it’s intended as an introductory build; if you want to optimize it, use Trapper and expertise food.
