GW2. WvW Build. Celestial Soulbeast Roaming Build. Ranger World vs World.

The Celestial Soulbeast is a ranger WvW build with high mobility, high sustain through boon uptime, and decent damage. It’s a very durable build that can handle most of the situations that can occur in small scale WvW, but does not scale up well. Mostly it relies on the pet merge skills to set up combos for the weapon skills to land.
Skill Combos:
Merge Smokescale > Warhorn 5 > 4 > Vulture Stance > F2 > F3 > Swap Pet Merge > F3 > Swap Weapon > Greatsword 2 > 3 > 5 > 2
Merge Raven > Warhorn 5 > Swap Weapon > F1 > F3 > Swap Pet Merge > Greatsword 2 > 3 > 5 > 2 > Swap Weapon > Axe 3 > 2 > Vulture Stance > F2 > F3
Many similar combos can be made. The combination of skills is big enough. And you can do plenty of combinations with the Smokescale’s F2 smoke cloud for stealth using leaps or blasts from the warhorn to disengage from outnumbered fights.
Vulture stance will trigger poison on your enemies per hit, and with the reliable ticking damage of the Warhorn 4 you can stack up a lot of poison and might. Wait to see if your Warhorn 4 lands on your target, then cast Vulture Stance when you have confirmed it to decide to go in on your combo. Use Entangle when you are sure your enemy has used their cooldowns and you can easily finish them off with the long immobilize.

This or the Sic em roamer for a newer wvw /roamer? Can this be used with shortbow ?
Sic Em is more damage burst, this one is more sustain
Ia this still viable for roaming ?? Or more of a bunker ? I like to roll solo or small groups . And sustain on othe ranger specs in lacking
Yes is very viable to solo, its very bunker and you can do big damage if you setup the combo correctly
Will smokescale be more damage? Could u also use alpine wolf instead of owl ?
You can use any that suits your style better, I just found necessary to get Prelude Lash to pull into Axe #5

What makes the “Nature Magic Variant” 70% difficult compared to the 40% of Raven? Is it the rotation in general or are you less tanky as a whole?
Simple because the Bastmastery trait line gives a lot of stats and buff to your pet, and you will get them when you merge, so it’s by default easier and actually better.

Is the nature magic variant still viable? Ive not played for 2 years and i used to play that back then, i prefer it to be honest. You get a lot more protection uptime along with increased strike damage per boon.

Hi Jen. Just wanted to Share my two builds which i have been using for long time. Both works well, just staff wariation has better sustain and dissengage and the axe one is better dueler. Thx a lot for your work and gl hf 🙂 dodging is a part of the rotation with both builds.
