GW2. WvW Build. Celestial Soulbeast WvW Roaming Build. Ranger WvW. Small Scale WvW Build.
Role: Medic
The Celestial Soulbeast is a ranger WvW roaming build that can provide burst healing to allies from the Merged Owl ability and share stances to give out the extremely powerful Dolyak Stance and other boons to allies while still having great mobility and CC to set up kills for its team in small scale fights.
Mostly you should Merge (F5) with the Owl pet because the F1 gives so much mobility, the F2 can cleanse movement-inhibiting conditions, and the F3 is a massive heal and condition counter. Unmerge if you need to swap to the smokescale for F2 blasting stealth combo finishers, or for using the pet beast ability to taunt. The taunt triggers around your pet after using F2 while unmerged, and around you while merged. However, the cooldown for this is shared when you use it while merged and not shared if you use it unmerged. Essentially this means you want to use the F2 unmerged before using it while merged to get two taunts within a short amount of time.
Prefer to use Moa Stance early to get fast protection for your allies and increase the duration of the other boons you give from Warhorn 5 and Mace 3. Before you go in with these, try to land your Staff 4 to immobilize the target, allowing you to follow up with the Mace 3 to stun.
Otherwise, keep using the Staff 2 off cooldown to heal allies (can be used to target allies or enemies) and the Staff 5 > 3 combo or the Owl F3 for more burst heal. Cast the Elite Skill Nature Spirit to revive allies from range.
CC Combo
- Unmerged > Staff 4 > Owl F2 > Weapon Swap > Warhorn 4 > Merge (F5) > F1 > Mace 3 > 2
Stealth Combo
- Unmerge (F5) > Swap Pet (F4) > F2 > Staff 3/Mace 3/Warhorn 5
Healing:
- Staff 2
- Staff 5 > 3
- Merged F3
- Heal Skill

This or the Sic em roamer for a newer wvw /roamer? Can this be used with shortbow ?
Sic Em is more damage burst, this one is more sustain
Ia this still viable for roaming ?? Or more of a bunker ? I like to roll solo or small groups . And sustain on othe ranger specs in lacking
Yes is very viable to solo, its very bunker and you can do big damage if you setup the combo correctly
Will smokescale be more damage? Could u also use alpine wolf instead of owl ?
You can use any that suits your style better, I just found necessary to get Prelude Lash to pull into Axe #5
Ia this utilizing power dmg more than condi ?
Both because Vulture Stance and life steal
What makes the “Nature Magic Variant” 70% difficult compared to the 40% of Raven? Is it the rotation in general or are you less tanky as a whole?
Simple because the Bastmastery trait line gives a lot of stats and buff to your pet, and you will get them when you merge, so it’s by default easier and actually better.
Nice!
Is the nature magic variant still viable? Ive not played for 2 years and i used to play that back then, i prefer it to be honest. You get a lot more protection uptime along with increased strike damage per boon.
can u share what traits are u using on nature magic?
Using the Poison Variant of this build I finally got my first rage mail. I approve of it
hahahha excelent!
Hi Jen. Just wanted to Share my two builds which i have been using for long time. Both works well, just staff wariation has better sustain and dissengage and the axe one is better dueler. Thx a lot for your work and gl hf 🙂 dodging is a part of the rotation with both builds.
