Overview

The sword dagger thief is great for poking targets down with the sword ports which allow them to easily go in and out of fights. The unblockable boon steal from Larcenous Strike makes this build strong against higher sustain builds, however it lacks easy access to stealth which makes it more vulnerable against burst classes.

Synergy

The combination of evades from Acrobatics vigor and Flanking Strike lets the sword dagger thief stay in fights. Boon steal from Bountiful Theft trait allows you to get the bonus damage from Larcenous Strike on targets with no boons more reliably.

Playstyle

Either engage with Infiltrator’s Strike to have a return location or with Steal if Infiltrator’s Strike already is down. Open with Cloak and Dagger into Tactical Strike for a good amount of vulnerability then use Flanking Strike to avoid counter pressure. If Flanking Strike lands, wait until the right moment to land Larcenous Strike combined with Steal or after a dodge.
