GW2. Best Open World Build. Celestial Herald. Revenant PvE.

Last Update: September 2023
Overview
The Celestial Herald provides incredible sustain, good damage, very good utility and CC, stability and permanent quickness for allies.
Mainly use Mace/Axe. Since your weapon swap sigils trigger on legend stance swapping, you don’t need to swap to Shortbow unless you need ranged damage.
While in Mallyx make sure to activate Embrace the Darkness, and while in Jalis activate the Vengeful Hammers, these two utilities will upkeep your energy to build quickness which also build might. When your energy drops below 10 swap legends to refill energy and gain an extra amount due to the trait Charged Mists.
Skill Priority:
Swap Legend Stances off cooldown to maximize the sigil and stance swapping condition application
- Embrace the Darkness if in Mallyx Stance or Vengeful Hammers if in Jalis
- Prioritize Mace 2/3 or Shortbow 4/3 off cooldown
- Use Axe 4/5 or Shortbow 2 to fill gap
- Swap Legend Stance when below 10 energy
- Swap Weapon when out of cooldowns to use
Upkeep your stacks of Aristocracy by applying Weakness with Mace 3 or Inspiring Reinforcements for more condition duration.
I think this build is no longer viable, especially after qHerald changes.
This build is now up to date with the return of the “on swap” sigils on legend swap
ty, Jen!
Is there any reason to use the F1 skill? And is there any reason to use dragon stance?
So are we supposed to be using Leadership runes still or are we swapping to torment now?
Right now Tormenting runes, but wait until expansion at end of the month because they will change runes/relics
