Role: Assassin 
The Power Core Ranger build for WvW roaming has the benefit of hard-hitting ranged damage from the longbow while also having survivability and melee burst damage from the greatsword. Because it is so simple, versatile, and fun to play, it’s one of the more iconic playstyles.
Swapping pets gives the benefit of quickness to enable burst combos and to add extra conditions to enemies who get near you. The pet can be set to defend or attack for less micromanagement, but putting it on passive will allow more control of it. Managing this pet swap cooldown and watching when it is ready can allow you much more pressure on your abilities.
Basic Combos
- Longbow 4 > Pet Swap > 2 > 3 > 5
- Greatsword 3 > 2 > Pet Swap > 5 > 2
While waiting for these skill cooldowns, use your stealth from Longbow 3 or the Jaguar F2, or the block from Greatsword 4 to gain more time.
