Role: Bruiser

The Power Untamed is a ranger build for WvW roaming with high burst and lockdown but can be susceptible to focus. It can combine manual control of the pet’s positioning through ports/pet swapping with CC to land massive burst damage alongside the pet.

Ambush skills will be available on your 1 skill for each weapon when unleashing yourself, but also due to the Let Loose trait they will become available after swapping weapons, so prioritize using these after swapping weapons. Since the Mace Ambush skill is a ranged Immobilize, it can be a combo enabler.

Basic Combos:

• Unleash Ranger > Mace Ambush > 3 > 4 > 5 > 2
• Unleash Ranger > Warhorn 4 > Sword Ambush > 3 > 2

Stealth: Smokescale F2 > Unleash Pet > F2 > Warhorn 5 > Sword 2/3

When you fit these basic combos into a rotation they can look more like this:

Opener:

• Warhorn 5/4 > F3 > Unleash Smokescale > F1/F2/F3 > Pet Swap > Unleash Ranger
• Sword Ambush > F2 > 3 > F3 > 2 > Swap
• Mace Ambush > 3 > 4 > 5 > 2 > (Repeat if reset)
