Role: Bruiser 
The Core Guardian is a simple yet effective WvW Roaming build. This playstyle is designed for someone who is new to World vs World but wants to play with their friends, which is why it has a good amount of self-sustain from blocks while also contributing to allies with boons, and some target pressure as well.
Always start a fight by using the Scepter 3 to immobilize the main target and mark them with the Scepter 2 and Focus 4. Then swap to sword and port on top of them with 2 and follow up with the 3. Use the F1 after Sword 2 to blind enemies and prevent them from counter-pressuring you after you go in.
Use the Shelter heal to block when enemies focus you, and the “Advance!” Shield 4, Focus 5, or F3 to further block attacks. When stunned, use the F3 or “Stand Your Ground!” to break stuns. If full of conditions, use the F2 or Contemplation of Purity to cleanse them.

- Scepter 3 > 2 > Focus 4 + 5 > Swap
- Sword 2 > 3 + F1
