The Power Spear Deadeye Open World build is a survivable thief build that allows you to stick to targets in melee range due to high amounts of lifesteal and stealth as part of the rotation.

After marking your target with F1 Deadeye’s Mark, you gain Malice when using initiative-costing attack skills against that target. Use your Spear 3 skill to gain Malice. Once you have maximum Malice you’ll gain many boons and to gain these boons again you need to reset your Malice by landing the sneak attack (1) which becomes available after entering stealth. The third part of the attack chain when pressing 3 will grant stealth, allowing you to use the sneak attack.

The spear playstyle relies on tanking damage and healing it back up rather than evading or positioning out of the risky situations. For this reason, you can still be taken out by overwhelming burst damage or CC that prevents you from continually stealing life. Use the Spear 5 to block any dangerous CC or attacks and keep your stun breaks ready.
