The Power Spellbreaker is a Tank/DPS warrior build with great sustain due to Full Counter and Defiant Stance allowing you to negate the damage of mechanics while also bringing the utility of boon removal. You can play with greatsword or hammer depending on which you prefer.
Playstyle
Role: Tank DPS
Always prioritize your burst F1 skills on the target to get the Magebane Tether and to build up stacks of Berserker’s Power, then land your disables on the target to gain stacks of Attacker’s Insight. Then prioritize landing your high damage abilities like Whirling Axe 5 with all your damage modifiers.
The flow of your build should be to use your burst skills when possible and then all of your weapon skills in between your bursts, swap weapon after using your second burst and then repeat. Always try to keep your burst skills on cooldown.
Example Rotation:
Dagger 3 > Axe 4 >Dagger F1 > 5
Swap Weapon
Then perform the following in a loop
Greatsword F1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > F1 > Swap
Dagger F1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > F1 > Swap
If necessary, use Defiant Stance to ignore mechanics or Full Counter F2 to evade an attack, which can also recharge your F1 with enough adrenaline.

Like the Greatsword Variant, you want to prioritize CC and burst skills due to the damage modifiers they give, but you have much more access to them because of the Defense traits and Hammer. Any CC you land, even against defiant targets, will give you adrenaline. This provides enough adrenaline to use burst skills off cooldown as well as Full Counter F2 when needed. Your heaviest hitting skills are Axe 5 and Hammer 2, and Hammer 2 will be recharged by Hammer 5, meaning you should always use 2 > 5 > 2, and if it isn’t available then just prioritize Hammer 2. Also try to use Bull’s Charge before your Axe 5 to get the damage modifier on your burst.
Example Rotation:
Open with Bull’s Charge and Hammer 4 for adrenaline
Hammer F1 > 2 > 5 > 2
Swap Weapon
Then perform the following in a loop
Dagger F1 > 3 > 4 > (Bull’s Charge) 5 > 2 > F1 > Swap
Hammer F1 > 2 > 5 > 2 > 3 > 4 > F1 > Swap
If necessary, use Defiant Stance to ignore mechanics or Full Counter F2 to evade an attack, which can also recharge your F1 with enough adrenaline.

would eagle rune work instead so that i dont have to change from open world build set when doing instanced content ?
Not the best but could work
Currently playing the greatsword dps variant. I gotta say this build and the skills selected are top-notch. I’ve tried others that are massive on damage and focused on maximizing end-game content performance. But doing the rotation in those cases, you sometimes end up losing some CC or utility skills.
The best part of this build is that you deal a huge amount of damage, while you still get a lot of useful skills to help. There are really dangerous moments when you can use [Defiant Stance] then [Battle Standard] easily saving half the squad, specially in case you’re close to a wipe. As stated on the post, [Defiant Stance] provides a huge aid in your fight to survive most mechanics. What turns out to be massive as you then with almost no risk at all use the [Battle Standard] ressing downed allies.
This not only aids a lot on the encounter but also provides huge help as a dps and it can easily twist the entire fight on your favor boosting the motivation of the team.
I definitely love this build as it shows how maximizing only dps is not always the most important!
