Ranged Variant
The “Sic ‘Em!” Soulbeast is the most aggressive ranger build for WvW. The ability to merge with your pet allows you to gain their stats as well as any bonus your pet would receive such as “Sic ‘Em!” which will grant you 25% more damage, and this along with other damage modifiers can supplement your burst combos.
Create distance when under pressure using the leaps from the melee weapon or the raven merge skill. Stealth is your main form of disengage, either from the Longbow 3 or by combining leap/blast finishers with the smoke field from your Smokescale’s F2. Once you can engage on your target, you can perform two burst combos.
Ranged Burst Combo: Smokescale Merge > Warhorn 4 > One Wolf Pack > “Sic ‘Em!” > Swap > Longbow 4 > 2 > F2
Melee Burst Combo: Raven Merge > F1 > Raven F3 > Eternal Bond F4 > Sword 2 > Smokescale F3
After performing the ranged and melee burst, you can reenter stealth to wait for cooldowns and your next burst.
Stealth Combo: Unmerge > Swap to Smokescale > F2 > Sword2/3 > Warhorn 5
The ideal rotation would be Stealth Combo > Ranged Burst > Melee Burst > Stealth Combo

Melee Variant
The melee variant of Soulbeast is more one dimensional but much more burst damage from the combination of two melee weapons Sword and Greatsword. It can have more mobility but is also a bit more risky since it does not have the luxury of the long range of the longbow.
Burst Combo: Smokescale Merge > Warhorn 5 > One Wolf Pack > “Sic ‘Em!” > Warhorn 4 > F2 > Sword 3 > 2 > F3 > Swap Pet and Weapon > Siamoth F2 > F1 > Greatsword 2 > 5 > 2
Use the Siamoth’s unmerged F2 to create feathers which you can pick up and consume to gain stealth, or use your leap finishers in your Smokescale F2 to gain more stealth. Wait for your cooldowns to do your next burst.

Scholar isnt better for berserker build?
Scholar can work yes, we prefer Pack runes for the critical chance/fury
Would you still go for One Wolf Pack or run Entangle after the october 17th nerf?
For the skirmish variant yea you still use it, the nerf was necessary because it was super OP but now is just good, and theres nothing else to take instead. I use entangle on the wilderness variant.
ive done the Wilderness Survival Variant. i only got 20k-22,9k life (only with rune of vamparism) you got 28 in the video what do i miss?
During that video I was testing different combinations until I found the most optimal which is listed here. If you want more health you can use full marauder, and also remember while you merge with Raven you gain extra health as well.

Not really, dagger and torch are condition weapons
Is mixing Staff and Greatsword ok? Or is Staff mainly meant to be paired with Sword/WH?
You can mix the way you want, only make sure you have the proper fury trait
For a combinations of Staff-GS or GS-Sw/W, which sigils do you suggest running for the Skirmishing variant?
Also is running the Fury trait better than running the +120 power at 30% uptime?
Spotter is necessary if not using warhorn yes
