GW2. A complete guide on how to get your Soo-Won Variants for the Aurene Legendary Weapons in Guild Wars 2. End of Dragons.
Elder Dragons Variants
Each one of the Aurene Legendary Weapons has six variant skins themed in the style of the other Elder Dragons (Zhaitan, Mordremoth, Kralkatorrik, Jormag, Primordius, and Soo-Won). These skin variants have different appearances, visual effects, and animations, according to the theme of the Elder Dragon they are based on.

After you account-bind your first Aurene-themed Legendary Weapon, you will get the achievement called “Arms of a New Cycle” done, and you will receive a mail from Leivas letting you know about the existence of these Elder Dragon variants.
NOTE: These variants require you to participate in events that might be located in maps from older expansions or maps from the living world seasons, so you will need access to that content to complete the skin variant collection.
Soo-Won Variants

Credit to Lord Hizen for the video.For the Soo-Won Variants, first, you need to buy four Scale Splinters of Soo-Woon from Leivas in Arborstone, and combine them into one Scale Fragment of Soo-Won by double-clicking any of them.
This will unlock the achievement called “Aurene’s Facet of Life”. This achievement consists in obtaining the following 7 items:
Scale Fragment of Soo-Won
This item is obtained after combining the four Scale Splinters of Soo-Won. Buy them from Leivas in Arborstone. They will cost you:
- 350000
Karma - 10 – Chunks of Ancient Ambergris
- 2500
Research Notes + 75 
Gold - 100
Spirit Shards
Purified Scale Fragment of Soo-Won
To obtain this item, you have to defeat the legendary ravenous wanderer in Gyala Delve.
First, you need to complete two event chains called “The Jade Crisis” and “Escape the Deep!”. After these two event chains are completed, the encounter “Destroy the ravenous wanderer” will take place south of Luxon Terminus Waypoint – [&BJkNAAA=].
NOTE: Joining a map already in progress won’t count.
Completed Memory of Soo-Won
For this item, you have to complete the sub-achievement called “Memories of Water and Life“.
For this, you need to acquire 250 fragmented Elder Dragon memories by doing events and defeating enemies in maps such as Seitung Province, New Kaineng City, The Echovald Wilds, Dragon’s End, and Gyala Delve while the Purified Scale of Soo-Won effect is active.
Lingering Void Aether
To obtain this item, you have to defeat the Prototype XJ-1 during the “Gang War” meta-event in Echovald Wilds while wielding an Aurene-based legendary weapon. Kropa Waypoint – [&BMwMAAA=]. Check the event timers here.
Purified Void Aether
For this item, interact with Aurene’s focusing crystal located near the beginning of the jumping puzzle “Wind through the Walls” in New Kaineng City to get the Unpurified Aether.
Then carry it to the second focusing crystal near chest at the end of the jumping puzzle to purify the Aether.
Uncharged Fragment of Prismatic Life
Return to Leivas in Arborstone and buy the Uncharged Fragment of Prismatic Fire. It will cost:
- 200 – Jade Runestones
- 250 – Memories of Aurene
- 5 – Mystic Clovers
Fragment of Prismatic Life
For the final item, you have to defeat Soo-Won during Dragon’s End meta-event with the Uncharged Fragment of Prismatic Life in your inventory while wielding an Aurene-themed Legendary Weapon.
Once you get the Fragment of Prismatic Life, return to Leivas in Arborstone and use it to redeem a Soo-Won-themed skin variant for any of the Aurene-themed Legendaries you have previously unlocked in your Legendary Armory.
