Getting Started
The Falling Star is a unique ascended spear obtained from a side-story quest, unlocked through the Wizard’s Vault. Besides getting the spear, you will also obtain 15AP and a with the in it, which changes the spear’s appearance depending on whether you have this infusion equipped or not.
This collection requires you to do some tasks in the Janthir Wilds, therefore you will need access to this expansion to unlock it. This guide will provide all the information you need to get .

- Purchase The Falling Star Quest License from the Wizard’s Vault.

- Speak with Field Archivist Cierle in Lowland Shore.
- Talk to the Field Archivist Cierle
- You can find her sitting at the edge of the Astral Ward Moon Camp, northwest of the Astral Ward Moon Camp Waypoint – [&BCcPAAA=] in the Lowland Shore.
- Interview local scouts about the unusual sight.
- Talk to the scout Kodan Landspeaker located next to the Maul Boneyards – [&BDYPAAA=].
- Retrieve the unknown object.
- Investigate the unknown object located at the sea floor in the northwest corner of the Lowland Shore.
- Return to Field Archivist Cierle to report about what you’ve found.
- Return to the Astral Ward Moon Camp – [&BCcPAAA=], and report back to Field Archivist Cierle about the meteor you’ve found.
- Ask Morgaah Bloodseeker in the Black Citadel about crafting a specialized glove.
- Talk to Morgaah Bloodseeker near the Memorial Waypoint – [&BKYDAAA=] in the Black Citadel.
- He will give you a list of items you need to purchase from Heart Vendors in the Lowland Shore and through the core maps of Tyria to craft the Meteor-Wielder’s Glove.
- Complete The Falling Star: Crafting List achievement to gather the needed items, then speak with Morgaah Bloodseeker to craft the glove.
- To buy all the items in the Crafting List you will need a total of 150
Ursus Oblige (obtained by completing events throughout the Janthir Wilds) and 6720 
Karma.

- 1/7 – Circling-Heat Pearl
- This first item is obtained when unlocking the collection.
- 2/7 – Warclaw-Fur Liner
- Sold by the heart vendor near the Harvest Den Waypoint – [&BK4OAAA=] in Lowland Shore.
- 3/7 – Refined Tempering Oil
- Sold by the heart vendor next to the Autumn’s Vale Waypoint – [&BC4PAAA=] in Lowland Shore.
- 4/7 – Crystalline Diode
- Sold by the heart vendor near the Journeykin Outpost Waypoint – [&BPsOAAA=] in Lowland Shore.
- 5/7 – Flame Legion Darksteel
- Sold by the heart vendor next to the Simurgh Waypoint – [&BCUCAAA=] in Fireheart Rise.
- 6/7 – Salvaged Grade 37 Crystalink Coupling
- Sold by the heart vendor near the Gauntlet Waypoint – [&BNMCAAA=] in Mount Maelstrom.
- 7/7 – Dredge Heat-Ablation Plates
- Sold by the heart vendor near the Tribulation Waypoint – [&BFYCAAA=] in Dredgehaunt Cliffs.
- Once you have all the items in the Crafting List, return to Morgaah Bloodseeker in The Black Citadel – [&BKYDAAA=] to get the Meteor-Wielder’s Glove
- With the Meteor-Wielder’s Glove equipped, retrieve the spear.
- Return to the meteor’s impact site in the northwest corner of the Lowland Shore and, with the Meteor Wielder’s Glove equipped, retrieve the spear.
- Return to Field Archivist Cierle to report about the spear.
- To finish the quest return once more to the Astral Ward Moon Camp – [&BCcPAAA=] and talk with the Field Archivist Cierle about the spear.
