GW2. Halloween Festival Achievements Guide. The Shadow of the Mad King 2023.

Shadow of the Mad King (Festivals)
These are the base permanent achievements for the Halloween Festival, if you are new to the festival start with these and they will guide you about what to do on the festival and obtain all the rewards from the activities, not all are necessary but if you are a completionist they can be a fun quest.
The Night Time Stood Still – 1AP
Head to Lion’s Arch at the Grand Plaza area and talk with Magister Tassi. They will send you to test the new “easy mode” jumping puzzle called the Stopped Clock Tower, you can access by interacting with any of the Clock Tower doors around Lion’s Arch. Once you completed it, return to talk with Tassi to finish the achievement.
Time Unmoving – 3AP
For this achievement you need to complete the Stopped Clock Tower jumping puzzle a total of 3 times.
On this puzzle the tower and platforms won’t move, you can even glide if you fall. There is no time limit so you can take your time, check the following video to see how it’s done.
At the end, next to the chest, you can find the NPC to buy the “Paper Bag” skins. To buy them you will require specific items for each one.
There are 4 types of skins, each one will require 3 and 10 which you can buy directly from Trading Post, but there is an extra item that is account bound. You can buy these from specific heart quest vendors around Tyria.

Time Unwaiting – 12AP
For this achievement you need to complete the Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle (Timed Activity) a total of 6 times.
Arguably Foodlike – 5AP
To complete this achievement you need to consume a total of 150 Pieces of Candy Corn.
Courtly Service – 5AP
To complete this achievement you need to spend a total of 5 Gold on any combination of services provided by the Mad King’s Steward inside the Labyrinth.
Mad Drifter – 5AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete a lap of any race event or time trial inside the Mad King’s Raceway under 1 minute 30 seconds.
Demon of a Drifter – 5AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete a lap of any race event or time trial inside the Mad King’s Raceway under 1 minute.
Pumpkin Carving – 17AP
To complete this achievement, you need to carve a total of 150 Pumpkins around Tyria. Carving Pumpkins are found scattered about Tyria and the Mad King’s Labyrinth during Halloween. Interacting with one will turn it into a jack-o-lantern and progress the Pumpkin Carving achievement. The pumpkins can be interacted with again after a period of time and reset on a per-character, per-instance basis.
The easiest way to find pumpkins is to head to the Mad King’s Labyrinth. Pumpkins around Tyria can typically be found near waypoints and settlements in starter zones.
Mercy of the Mad King – 5AP
To complete this achievement you need to open a total of 1,000 Trick or Treat bags. You will get a Royal Flame Weapon Coffer as reward to help you with the collection.
Shut the Doors – 5AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete a total of 30 door events inside the Mad King’s Labyrinth.
All doors in the labyrinth spawn foes. Two doors in the north-west and south-east corner spawn bosses. Normal doors respawn roughly every 20 minutes, while the boss doors respawn approximately every 24-30 minutes.
Every non-boss door has a base respawn timer of 15 minutes+additional time; after those 15 minutes, the door enters a pool of viable doors to respawn next. Having more doors on cooldown will lower the time before any random door within this pool will spawn.
Routing the Rebel Rabble – 10AP
To get this achievement you need to kill a total of 150 Lunatic Court Rebels. Killing Rebel Lunatics, as well as some other hostiles within the Mad King’s Labyrinth, will count toward the total of 150 needed.
Ancient Grudge – 10AP
To earn this achievement you need to kill a total of 150 Palawa Joko’s minions. You need to find “Awakened” enemies. If you own the Path of Fire expansion, you will find them very easily on Crystal Desert maps. However if you don’t own the expansion, you can still progress this achievement doing the event “Defeat the invading Awakened” that occurs every hour at xx:30. The zone for this event is determined by a rotating weekly schedule shown below.
Rivalry of Kings – 5AP
This achievement requires you to have completed “Be My Guest” which is the fifth part and third instance of Long Live the Lich (Living Story Season 4 – Episode 3).
Go talk with Veteran Brigadier General Kernel in Lion’s Arch at Fort Marriner – [&BDAEAAA=] about Joko’s plans and you will unlock the next step below as well (Mad Maleficence).
Mad Maleficence – 10AP
This achievement is a sub-collection and you need to gather 13 trophies.
- Joko’s Crown (Replica) – Purchased from the Awakened Merchant near the Grand Sahil Casino – [&BEcKAAA=] using one Candy Corn Cob.
- Awakened Officer’s Service Medallion – Found in Palawan Phylacteries, dropped by champion Awakened. You can find champions on many maps, however the best locations to farm these bags are The Great Hall and Palawadan meta-events at Domain of Istan.
- Mummy Wrap Field Kit – Found in Buried Treasures and Superior Buried Treasures, found by using a Treasure Hunting Kit in one of the Crystal Desert maps.
- Journal of a Youth – Speak to the Mad Spirit in the north on the wall of the Mad King’s Labyrinth (up high), who will give you this item.
- Ancient Awakened Soldier’s Ring – On a land mass southwest of the northwest Labyrinth waypoint. This waypoint is accessible via Bloody Prince doors across Tyria, or by gliding or flying over from the other waypoint via a griffon.
- Draft of a Love Letter (Page 2) – Southeast corner of the maze, up on the land mass just northeast of where the Legendary Skeletal Lich spawns.
- Chariot Reins – In Mad King’s Raceway, south of waypoint, in small mausoleum. Speak to the boatmaster in the labyrinth to get there.
- Joko’s Book Club Selections – In Mad King’s Raceway, southwest of the waypoint, in a small mausoleum.
- Book of Palawa Poetry – 1st Draft – In an Abandoned Lockbox near the top of the ruined building at Bokoss Prison Ruins in the Domain of Kourna – [&BFYLAAA=] .
- The Scourge of Vabbi’s To-Do List – Take the Sand Portal on the floating structure at Seborhin Circle in the Domain of Vabbi – [&BD0KAAA=] , the item is in an Abandoned Lockbox directly south of the vista.
- Aphorisms of Joko, the Eternal Monarch of All – On top of the Joko Statue at Great Palawa Joko Monument in the Domain of Vabbi – [&BJsKAAA=] , in an Abandoned Lockbox.
- A Treatise on the Veridical… – In an Abandoned Lockbox under the Joko Statue’s Foot at The Triumph of Palawa Joko in Elon Riverlands – [&BJkKAAA=] .
- The Diary of Palawa Ignacious Joko – In an Abandoned Lockbox on the northern side of the second floor of the Forbidden Vault, after completing “Help Buuran investigate the mysterious gate”.
This is the third of an event chain that starts with “Collect relics for Meymo and Kyrisah” at Lair of the Forgotten in the Desolation – [&BMEKAAA=] .

Close the Floodgates of Death – 5AP
After completing the collection of Mad Maleficence go back to Veteran Brigadier General Kernel at Fort Marriner – [&BDAEAAA=] and talk to him, you will need to defeat him and you will earn the achievement and a Mini Pumpkin Jack.
Mad Memories – 1AP
Go to Lion’s Arch at the Grand Plaza area and talk with Magister Tassi about researching the Mad King’s life and death. After this you will also receive a mail with the Candy-Powered Matter Meter Mk2 to continue with the next step.
Mad Mysteries – 5AP
This is the next step after completing Mad Memories and you will need to use your scanner and collect 6 items on different locations. You will get as reward the back piece Mad Memoires.
- Mad Memoires I: Boyhood
Acquired by talking to Serene, a ghost found near Magister Tassi in the Grand Piazza within Lion’s Arch during Halloween. If she is not already revealed, use Scan Etheric Field (Skill #3) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Serene and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires II: Friendship
Acquired by talking to Samson, a ghost found underneath the rock face where Deverol Gardens is located – [&BCIEAAA=] . If he is not already revealed, use Scan Aqueous Field (Skill #1) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Samson and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires III: Young Love
Acquired by talking to Tynna, a ghost found in Sanctum Harbor east of the Old Lion’s Arch – [&BBwEAAA=] , next to a stone wall with a hole in it. If she is not already revealed, use Scan Etheric Field (Skill #3) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Tynna and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires IV: Deadly Adventures
Acquired by talking to Prince Ewan Thorn, a ghost found in the Village of Shaemoor’s cemetary in Queensdale – [&BO8AAAA=] . If he is not already revealed, use Scan Gaseous Field (Skill #2) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Prince Ewan Thorn and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires V: Betrothed
Acquired by talking to Lady Lyrica, a ghost found within Blackroot Cut in Kessex Hills under a stone arch north from Delanian Waypoint – [&BAgAAAA=]. If she is not already revealed, use Scan Corporeal Field (Skill #4) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Lady Lyrica and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires VI: Coronation
Head to the Provernic Crypt in Gendarran Fields, found west of Provern Shore Waypoint – [&BOQAAAA=] , and talk to Lord Humphrey Faren. If he is not already revealed, use Scan Gaseous Field (Skill #2) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Lord Humphrey Faren and obtain the item.
Mad Mementos – 10AP
This is the next step after completing Mad Mysteries and you will need to use your scanner and collect 6 more items, you will get rewarded with the back piece Mad Memoires: Complete Edition.
- Mad Memoires VII: Handless
Start from Ascalon Settlement Waypoint in Gendarran Fields – [&BI8BAAA=] and speak to Cashel, a ghost found in an archway near the northern ruins. If he is not already revealed, use Scan Corporeal Field (Skill #4) on top of the steps to reveal a Suspicious Location. It will launch the event “Drive back the hands of the accused thieves”. Completing it will cause Cashel to spawn.
- Mad Memoires VIII: Feast and Famine
Head to Martyr’s Tomb from the Demetra Waypoint in Harathi Hinterlands – [&BKsAAAA=] , located inside ruins at Ruins of Holy Demetra and talk to Fenn, a ghost found there. If he is not already revealed, use Scan Etheric Field (Skill #3) near the Statue of Dwayna to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Fenn and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires IX: Pains of Love
Head to a half sunken ship found southwest of Sorrowful Waypoint – [&BKQBAAA=] and speak to Seamarshal Bennu, a ghost found there. If he is not already revealed, use Scan Aqueous Field (Skill #1) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interacting with it launches the event “Subdue the Mad Realm creatures until the door closes”. Completing it will cause Seamarshal Bennu to spawn.
- Mad Memoires X: Tax-o’-Lanterns
Acquired by going to Seraph’s Landing Waypoint – [&BKcAAAA=] and talking to Rufus, he is located slightly south of Valerie, the repairs NPC, inside a room with a Jack-O’-Lantern. Use Scan Corporeal Field (Skill #4) and the jack-o-lantern will become interactable. Interact with it to spawn Rufus and obtain the item.
- Mad Memoires XI: Flames of Renewal
Start from Bridgewatch Camp Waypoint – [&BK8AAAA=] and speak to Portia, a ghost found there. If she is not already revealed, use Scan Gaseous Field (Skill #2) on the southern end of the bridge spanning over Arca Lake to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interacting with it will cause Portia to appear and run to where her village once stood and launch the event “Extinguish the flames in the village lost to time”. During the event, use Scan Aqueous Field (Skill #1) to find a bucket to put out the flames. Completing the event will trigger Portia to speak.
- Mad Memoires XII: Descension
Head north of Fort Cadence Waypoint – [&BMUBAAA=] towards The Shattered Keep and talk to Wynn, a ghost found at the bottom of the crypt, near the southwest corner. If he is not already revealed, use Scan Etheric Field (Skill #3) to reveal a Suspicious Location. Interact with it to spawn Wynn and obtain the item.
Mad Memorial – 20AP
This is the next step after completing Mad Mementos and you will need to collect 6 more items, you will get rewarded with the back piece Mad Memoires: Complete Ignition, and the title Emissary of the Mad King.
- Mad Memoires XIII: Apocrypha
- Talk to Lunatic Noble Acreni slightly northwest of the Mystic Forge in Lion’s Arch after completing the achievement Arguably Foodlike.
- Mad Memoires XIV: Lunacy
- Talk to the Lunatic Boatmaster in the Labyrinth after completing the achievement Routing the Rebel Rabble. Ask him the sixth inquiry, “Can you tell me about Mad King Thorn’s rule over the Mad Realm?”.
- Mad Memoires XV: Fabrication
- Talk to the Mad King’s Steward in the Mad King’s Labyrinth, located at the center of the map, next to the mausoleum. First you need to complete the achievement Courtly Service.
- Mad Memoires XVI: Hallowed Eves
- Talk to Bruce the Herald found mounted on a springer with the spooky skin by Lion’s Court in Grand Piazza after completing the achievement Pumpkin Carving.
- Mad Memoires XVII: Rivalry
- Talk to Veteran Brigadier General Kernel between the World versus World portals in Fort Marriner after completing the achievement Ancient Grudge.
- Mad Memoires XVIII: Binding Agreement
- Talk to Lunatic Acolyte Broye found near a Ascent to Madness door by Deverol Gardens after completing the achievement Lunatic’s Fashion.
Court Duty: Gathering Evidence – 2AP
This achievement requires you to collect 5 pieces of evidence which will be awarded by completing the following five achievements:
- Court Duty: Deference to the King
- Court Duty: Race to the Precipice
- Court Duty: Terror of the Tower
- Court Duty: Untangling the Labyrinth
- Court Duty: The King’s Guest
Court Duty: Deference to the King – 5AP
Survive Mad King Thorn’s tricks in the Ascent to Madness mission or participate in his games of Mad King Says in Lion’s Arch. Successfully playing Mad King Says awards extra progress.
You need to complete festival activities until you reach the total progress which is 100. For more info on these activities check the achievements below on this guide.
The Mad King Says event in Lion’s Arch gives 15 and the Ascent to Madness mission gives 10.
Court Duty: Race to the Precipice – 5AP
Complete mount races in the Mad King’s Labyrinth or Mad King’s Raceway. Faster times and top-three finishes award extra progress.
You need to complete festival activities until you reach the total progress which is 100. For more info on these activities check the achievements below on this guide.
Finishing first on the Beetle Race in the Raceway gives 45 and finishing first on the Labyrinth race gives 15.
Court Duty: Terror of the Tower – 5AP
Open chests in the Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle. Chests higher up the tower award extra progress.
You need to complete festival activities until you reach the total progress which is 100. For more info on these activities check the achievements below on this guide.
Opening the final chest in the Clock Tower jumping puzzle gives 20.
Court Duty: Untangling the Labyrinth – 5AP
Complete haunted door events in the Mad King’s Labyrinth. Boss events award extra progress.
You need to complete festival activities until you reach the total progress which is 100. For more info on these activities check the achievements below on this guide.
Completing haunted door events gives 2, and completing boss doors gives 5.
Court Duty: The King’s Guest – 1AP
Visit the Mad King’s Labyrinth for some… festive fun. Then follow up on developments observed in the Mad Realm. Very easy to complete, follow the steps below:
- In the Mad King’s Labyrinth, overhear an exchange between Mad King Thorn and a visitor.
- By just being in the Labyrinth you will eventually hear the conversation between the Mad King and Joko
- Report to Magister Tassi in Lion’s Arch on the latest crisis in the Mad Realm.
- Speak to Tassi in Lion’s Court – [&BCkEAAA=]
- Demand answers from Brigadier General Kernel in Lion’s Arch.
- Speak to Brigadier General Kernel south of Fort Marriner Waypoint – [&BDAEAAA=]
- Press Brigadier General Kernel for details on the Lunatic Court’s quest.
- Speak to Brigadier General Kernel again
Completing this will unlock the next achievement “Court Duty: Where the Lunatics Dare”
Court Duty: Where the Lunatics Dare – 3AP
For this achievement you need to talk with five Lunatic Court members, four of them will only have the correct dialogue option after you finish the Court Duty achievements above.
- Countess’s Testimony
- After completing “Court Duty: Untangling the Labyrinth” speak to Countess Zohrell in the middle of the Labyrinth and choose the dialogue option “But you must know something about this soul jar”
- Duke’s Testimony
- After completing “Court Duty: Deference to the King” speak to Duke Wodalr at Lion’s Arch near the Mystic Forge and choose the dialogue option “Is this remnant of Awakened garb perhaps familiar to you?”
- Harrower’s Testimony
- After defeating the Harrower Veltan boss inside the Labyrinth (new boss door 2021) speak to her about Joko.
- Huntsman’s Testimony
- After completing “Court Duty: Race to the Precipice” speak to Huntsman Ysdon inside the Mad King’s Raceway and choose the dialogue option “My investigation turned up this claw. A gargoyle’s if I’m not mistaken”
- Courtier’s Testimony
- After completing “Court Duty: Terror of the Tower” speak to Courtier Xikka at Deverol Gardens – [&BCIEAAA=] in Lion’s Arch and choose the dialogue option “I happen to have a guide to the Clock Tower here.”
Completing this will unlock the next achievement “Court Duty: All’s Mad That Ends Mad”
Court Duty: All’s Mad That Ends Mad – 10AP
Report back to Magister Tassi in Lion’s Court – [&BCkEAAA=] and you will complete the achievement, the reward for this is a Mini Spectral Palawa Joko.
Feline of the Labyrinth – 3AP
Receive a boon from an old occupant of Mad Kind’s Labyrinth. You can find the Madame Cookie cat around the Labyrinth (the location will change, but you can see the candy corn icon in the map). You need to interact and pay 50 Pieces of Candy Corn to earn a 15min magic find buff.
The Outcast Prince – 3AP (Hidden)
Inside the Labyrinth near the northwest waypoint you will see the Bloody Prince Thorn sitting in a bone structure, you need to reach to him by using some moving platforms and then crossing a chain. Interact with him and hear his thoughts to earn this achievement.
Halloween Rituals (Annual)
(Annual) Halloween Rituals – 0AP
This is the annual meta-achievement, you need to complete 9 of 10 achievements to earn the rewards. This achievement can be completed once every year. This year the rewards are a Grim Machine Chest and a Clawing Shadow Greaves Box.
(You can obtain the rewards from past years and other stuff by buying them from the “Candy Corn Vendor [Merchant]” NPC)
This year have also a few new rewards, especially three new weapon skins that can be obtained from Sparking Stone NPC.
(Daily) Trick-or-Treat across Tyria – 0AP
Participate in Mad King Says or defeat any champion enemies across Tyria.
This new daily achievement will award the new Halloween Prize Bag which can drop the Chained Weapons (these weapons can be purchased from Trading Post too).
(Weekly) Halloween Festivities – 0AP
Participate in the Mad King’s Labyrinth, Halloween races, the Mad King’s Clock Tower, Mad King Says, and Ascent to Madness. Progress awarded varies based on the activity. This will reward a Candy Corn Cob.
You can now obtain extra Grim Machine Chest from this achievement.
Eve of the Mad King – 100AP
Each time you complete the festival daily achievement 5 times (Halloween Fright), you will complete a tier, and earn 10AP and a Mad King’s Gift, which contains Haunted Weapon Skins and other stuff. This achievement it’s repeatable up to 100AP.
Once you unlock one of the Haunted weapon skins, you will be able to buy the Demon-Haunted version of it at the Lunatic Weaponsmith Markham [Haunted Weaponsmith] NPC:
(Annual) A Royal Tradition – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete three times the “Your Mad King says…” event that takes place in Lion’s Arch at Grand Piazza every 2 hours on the hour (starting at daily reset time). Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Ancient Grudge – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to kill 100 of Palawa Joko’s minions. Achievement can be completed once every year. Check the Ancient Grudge permanent achievement above in the guide for more details on where to find these enemies.
(Annual) Arguably Foodlike – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to eat a total of 300 Pieces of Candy Corn. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Ascent to Madness – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete the Ascent to Madness dungeon. Achievement can be completed once every year.
Ascent to Madness is a dungeon only available during Halloween. you need to travel into the Mad King’s realm and stop him before he threatens the world of Tyria.
(Annual) Courtly Service – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to spend a total of 5 Gold on any combination of services provided by the Mad King’s Steward inside the Labyrinth. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Lunatic Racer – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete the race event in Mad King’s Labyrinth in under two minutes a total of three times. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Mad Drifter – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete a lap of the race event or time trial in Mad King’s Raceway in under one minute a total of three times. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Mad King’s Clock Tower – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete the Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle a total of three times. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Masters of the Labyrinth – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to defeat all 5 champions in the Mad King’s Labyrinth. Achievement can be completed once every year.
NOTE: In the 2021 release of the Halloween festival two new bosses were added to the Labyrinth.
(Annual) Pumpkin Carving – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to find pumpkins all around Tyria and carve them, a total of 100. Achievement can be completed once every year.
(Annual) Raceway Regular – 0AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete a total of 15 laps of any race event or time trial in Mad King’s Raceway. Achievement can be completed once every year.
Annual Rituals – 1000AP (Annual Limited 50AP)
To earn this achievement you need to complete the Halloween Rituals (Annual) achievement. This achievement can only be completed once per year. You can earn only 50AP each year.
Carving Across Tyria – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to find and carve 200 pumpkins throughout Central Tyria. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to carve a total of 1,000 pumpkins. See above the achievement Pumpkin Carving for more info.
Champion of the Labyrinth – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to defeat a total of 5 bosses in the Mad King’s Labyrinth. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to defeat a total of 25 bosses.
Clocktower’s Champion – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete the Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle a total of 3 times. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to complete the jumping puzzle a total of 15 times.
Knock Down the Doors – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete 50 door events in Mad King’s Labyrinth. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to complete a total of 250 door events. See above the achievement Shut the Doors for more info.
Lunatic Inquisition Regular – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to participate in 3 rounds of Lunatic Inquisition. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to participate a total of 15 rounds.
Mad King’s Herald (Intern) – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete 3 laps of any race event or time trial in Mad King’s Raceway. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to complete a total of 15 laps.
Mad King’s Herald-in-Training – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to complete the race event or adventure in Mad King’s Labyrinth 3 times. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to complete the race a total of 15 times.
New Afterlife for Quaggan – 25AP
To earn this achievement you need to donate enough pieces of candy corn to give Drooburt a new start, each donation is 1,000. You can repeat this achievement up to five times, each time you earn 5AP, so to get the 25AP you need to donate a total of 5000 pieces of candy corn.
Lunatic Wardrobe (Festivals)
A Royal Tradition – 5AP
To earn this achievement simply complete a round of Mad King Says event in Lion’s Arch. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Hat Box.
Ascent to Madness – 10AP
To earn this achievement simply complete the Ascent to Madness dungeon. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Coat Box.
Lunatic Racer – 10AP
To earn this achievement simply complete the race event in Mad King’s Labyrinth in under two minutes. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Pants Box.
Mad King’s Clock Tower – 10AP
To earn this achievement simply complete the Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Boot Box.
Masters of the Labyrinth – 5AP
To earn this achievement simply defeat all three champions in the Mad King’s Labyrinth. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Shoulder Box.
Something Good to Eat – 5AP
To earn this achievement simply open a total of 50 Trick-or-Treat Bag. You will get rewarded with a Lunatic Glove Box.
Collections (Festival Collections)
Lunatic Court’s Finery – 5AP
For this collection you need to unlock all 18 Lunatic armor skins in your wardrobe. You will get 6 pieces for free doing the achievements above, for the rest you need to purchase the recipes to craft from the Lunatic Alchemist, it costs 1 Candy Corn Cob each recipe.
As reward you will get the back piece Mad Memoires: Complete Superstition.
Mad Armory: Carapace of Chaos – 5AP
For this collection you need to do a few things while you under the effects of a ghostly aura.
A ghostly aura can be obtained from eating the following foods:
- Omnomberry Ghost (chance to grant 10 minutes)
- Soul Cake (30 minutes)
- Saint Bones (30 minutes)
- Strawberry Ghost (chance to grant 10 minutes)
You can buy from Trading Post or craft these foods, also keep in mind while the nourishment does last the stated duration, the ghostly aura disappears when leaving a map. It is recommended to eat the food just before killing the boss or loot the chest to ensure you have the ghostly aura active when it is defeated.
So here are the tasks you need to do:
- Saint Bones
Simply buy from Trading Post or craft a Saint Bones and consume it.
- Ghostly Curse Essence
You need to loot the chest atop the Vizier’s Tower jumping puzzle in Straits of Devastation while under ghostly aura.
Credit to A Void Me for the video.NOTE: The chest required for the Ghostly Curse Essence in Vizier’s Tower is the Grand Chest which spawns after completing the “Kill the Risen wizard patrolling the Vizier’s Tower” event, not the Orrian chest which triggers the event.
- Ghostly Tomb Essence
You need to collect the final reward of any explorable path of the Ruined City of Arah dungeon while under ghostly aura.
The recommended and easiest paths will be 2 for solo and 3 for group.

You need to loot the final chest of the Deepstone fractal while under ghostly aura.

- Ghostly Abyss Essence
You need to looting the chest of Tequatl the Sunless while under ghostly aura.
You can check the Boss Timer by typing “/wiki et” in-game.
As reward you will get the Carapace of Chaos exotic shield.
Mad Armory: Last Rites – 5AP
For this collection you need to do same as above complete a few tasks while you under the effects of a ghostly aura.
- Soul Cake
Simply buy from Trading Post or craft a Soul Cake and consume it.
- Ghostly Teeth Essence
You need to loot the final chest of Sharkmaw Caverns jumping puzzle in Lion’s Arch while under ghostly aura.

You need to collect the final reward of any explorable path in Ascalon Catacombs while under ghostly aura.
The recomended and easiest paths will be 1 and 3.

- Ghostly Battle Essence
You need to loot the final chest of the Urban Battleground fractal while under ghostly aura.

- Ghostly Shadow Essence
You need to loot the Demonic Chest after defeating the Shadow Behemoth while under the effect of a ghostly aura.
You can check the Boss Timer by typing “/wiki et” in-game.
As reward you will get the Last Rites exotic greatsword.
Royal Flame Weapons – 5AP
To complete this collection you need to unlock all 16 Royal Flame Weapon skins in your wardrobe.
You can only obtain the weapons from Royal Flame Weapon Coffer which you will get one for free after completing the achievement Mercy of the Mad King and you can get the rest from Trick-or-Treat Bag as rare loot or simply buying them from the Trading Post.
Tricks and Treats – 3AP
First you need to get a Old Pillowcase to unlock this collection, you can get it from Trick-or-Treat Bag or just simply buy it from Trading Post.
Then you need to simply collect and use the following items, you can get them very easily from Trick-or-Treat Bag or buying them from the Trading Post.
NOTE: Rotten Egg and Toilet Paper are account bound, you can’t buy these.
