Wuthering Waves Baizhi Character Guide

WuWa. Baizhi Wuthering Waves Guide Character Build. Glacio Support.

Baizhi is a 4-star character that wields a Rectifier and uses Glacio as her elemental damage. She is a Support that can heal, buff, and summon a bird to attack with.

Pros – Has many healing effects if you want a more defensive support.

Cons – One of her damage buffs requires you to pick up a bubble which can feel clunky.

Team Compositions – Baizhi works with all kinds of teams due to her general healing capabilities, but she can get much more value from teams that have a hyper DPS and then a Sub DPS because the Rejuvenating Glow Sonata can stack with the Moonlit Echoes from the Sub DPS.

Skills and Playstyle

Baizhi uses her bird You’tan to attack, allowing her to stay at a distance.

Basic Attack – Her ranged Basic Attack fills her Forte extremely fast, giving one of the four bars for each attack. The Forte can be used to improve her Resonance Skill or Heavy Attack.

Heavy Attack – Holding down the Heavy Attack will lock you in place but allow you to manually control You’tan using the character movement keys W A S D. This attack grants Concerto quickly and will grant extra Concerto, Heal allies, and give Resonance Energy for each bar of Forte consumed, but consumes stamina and leaves you vulnerable the longer you hold it.

Aerial Attack – You’Tan will charge forwards from Baizhi. The hit box is very easy and safe to Parry with because of how it moves far away and gradually. You can dodge after the parry because of how much time you have, but be careful not to Parry too early.

Resonance Skill (E) – Attacks nearby enemies and heals allies, consuming your Forte. Depending on how much Forte gauge was consumed it will heal allies more over time. With Inherent Skill 1, she creates a bubble that gives a damage buff to whoever picks it up, and your other characters can pick this up.

Resonance Liberation – Heals all characters and then adds a buff which will transfer as you swap characters, seen by the swirling wind around the current character, that deals Glacio damage to a nearby target and heals you four times over the next 10 seconds.

Rotation

  • Four Basic Attacks > Heavy
  • Four Basic Attacks > E
  • Q > R > Outro

For faster swaps, only use the E and Q, this will give an Outro every other rotation

Intro – Heals all characters.

Outro – Heals the next character by a percent of Baizhi’s maximum health every 3 seconds for the next 30 seconds and gives them 15% more damage for the next 6 seconds every time this effect heals them.

baizhi guide sequences

Sequence 1 – Resonance Skill restores 2.5 Resonance Energy for each Forte used.

Sequence 2 – Resonance Skill increases Baizhi’s Glacio DMG and Healing by 15% if she has 4 Forte. This lasts for 12 seconds.

Sequence 3 – Intro Skill increases Baizhi’s max health by 12% for 10 seconds.

Sequence 4 – The lingering buff after her Resonance Liberation applies 2 more times, heals 20% more, and deals additional Glacio damage equal to 1.2% of her max health.

Sequence 5 – If a team member is downed while Baizhi is alive, immediately revive them to 100% health once every 10 minutes.

Sequence 6 – When the bubble from her Resonance Skill is picked up, all characters gain 12% Glacio damage increase for 20 seconds

Should you try to pull extra sequences for Baizhi?

Generally Baizhi will perform her job just as well with or without sequences. They only increase the number values for pure optimization. The fifth sequence is very useful to revive an ally, but it’s quite deep to invest for. Unless you plan to go that deep, Baizhi will be completely useful without any sequences.
