The Celestial Protection Holosmith is an Engineer WvW roaming build that can provide high amounts of cleansing and protection to allies. Applying protection also cleanses. The healing is not great because it takes time and requires combos to perform, but when playing with others who also have combo finisher blasts, your team can all support themselves with the water fields you provide.

There are many different kits and combos for handling many different situations, but due to this versatility, you can swap playstyle from a healer to a damage dealer and kill enabler depending on the situation. Try to use the Forge 2 often, as it will cleanse movement-inhibiting conditions, and it is a leap finisher as well.

• Enter Photon Forge > 3 > 2 > 4 > 111

When chasing enemies for kills or engaging in fights, use the Shortbow 5 first to stun as many enemies in the line of fire, then follow up with the Shortbow 2 will trigger the Shortbow chain reaction to daze the enemies right before the stun ends. You can pull in enemies with the Prismatic Singularity, which has a larger range when above 50% Heat. Try to use this after your damage combo when you know your heat will be high. After they are pulled in, you can stun-lock them with the Forge 5 Shockwave.

When attempting to support your allies, applying protection is the first priority due to how many effects it has.

Healing is scarce on this build because it can be hard to land on moving allies. You need to keep up as a semi-frontliner and perform some water field and blast finisher combos next to allies.

• Med Kit 5 > 3 > 4
• Mortar Kit 5 > Shortbow 2 > Forge 5/2
• Shortbow 3

Otherwise, you have great utility from the Mortar Kit 3 and 4 to chill and blind enemies in small spaces or around objectives, and can use the Utility Goggles tool belt skill to reveal enemies so they can’t hide in stealth from your allies.
