GW2. WvW Build. Power Vindicator WvW Roaming Build. Revenant WvW. Small Scale WvW Build.
Role: Bruiser
The Power Vindicator is a bruiser Revenant WvW roaming build that maintains its health by its evade uptime while swapping legends to regenerate. With the Salvation traits, there is much more reliable sustain with reduced strike damage, cleansing on dodges, and barrier per boon, meaning you can stay in fights longer to deal more sustained damage.
The Alliance Stance provides a high amount of mobility, utility, sustain, and burst due to how many skills you have access to by swapping between the Kurzick and Luxon stance with F3. The Kurzick stance is generally defensive with the Battle Dance giving a high amount of evades and resistance while the Tree Song gives cleansing and healing. The Luxon stance has Scavenger’s Burst which gives quickness and fury to start combos with, and the Reaver’s Rage is a great stun break that also dazes nearby enemies. Because there are so many good skills to use in the alliance stance, you may want to prioritize the lower-cost skills to the left of the weapon skill bar when using it. Use F2 to regain energy.
In Shiro Stance try to conserve energy so you can use the expensive Riposting Shadows to stun break if needed or to do a big burst with the Phase Traversal for quickness. Only use Impossible Odds when combined with your Greatsword 5 or Sword 3 or when about to swap out of Shiro stance.
Dodging also deals damage, allowing you to stick to targets while avoiding damage. This is also a great way to bridge the gaps in your Sword and Greatsword combos to maintain pressure.
Alliance Combo
- Spear of Archemorus > Scavenger’s Burst > Greatsword 3 > Legend Swap > 2 > 5 > Dodge > Weapon Swap
- Sword 4 > 5 > 3 + Impossible Odds > Dodge > 2
Shiro Combo
- Phase Traversal > Sword 3 > Legend Swap > Dodge > 2 > 4 > 5 > Weapon Swap
- Greatsword 2 > Dodge > Reaver’s Rage > Greatsword 5 > 3
Always swap between Luxon and Kurzick stance (F3) at least once before entering Shiro stance even if you don’t plan to use any of those skills because it grants extra healing when you swap legend stances which adds up over time.

It’s “good”, but I think Core works better honestly. Not really star tier.
it says “use the leaps in Mallyx” but this doesn’t use demon stance?
If I want to mix some Dragon stats gear for the Salvation build, how much crit chance from the gear should I aim for to crit cap? Will the gear’s crit chance be also different to crit cap for the Devastation build?
The Devastation variant is not using full critical, the Salvation is to compensate the lack of damage, you can miz the stats as you wish, its your call on how much critical you want
What do you think about changing some of the maraduers to dragon for more ferocity?
Sure
With the removal of the chill in the Feb 14 patch – do you still think this is S tier for solo play?
yes just use a different dodge or still enjoy the protection
Yes still very good, just changed to the damage dodge, neither of the other nerfs affected WvW
Is salvation viable or devastation is the way to go?
Salvation stronger now.
Celestial gear is viable?
Not for this build, for celestial check this one: https://guildjen.com/celestial-vindicator-roaming-build/
Hello, what is your opinion with changing invocation to retribution traitline currently? Thanks.
Vindicator with Salvation is stupidly overpowered and any other traitline can work with it, however retribution is gonna make it more bunker so not what I would suggest.
i cant see any of the build specs, can you help me?
Arenanet disabled the Guild Wars 2 API, for won’t show for a while. I did put the build for you here: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PmwAwyFlZSMsTyjlSdMUijpSksSign1UeMD-DWZYBBFIGds5g8LkMzgOLgeDBbPFQzLW2AA-w
Why does this build use dragon instead of marauder? Is crit-capping not important on this build?
You don’t need 100% critical for roaming/small scale, all builds aim at 80% with fury.
