Role: Bruiser
The Celestial Holosmith is an Engineer WvW build that uses the Spear as a high-condition damage output weapon while using the Photon Forge for utility and mobility in between the burst combos. Because the Spear provides so much effectiveness, there is no need for kits which allows more options for defense and stun breaks through the utility skills.
You want to be going in and out of the Photon Forge a lot, so the Vent Exhaust will manage your heat when you dodge. Using dodges even when you have nothing to dodge can be useful because it will still trigger the reduced cooldown on Prime Light Beam from the Tools trait and trigger your Relic of Rivers to provide Alacrity for even more cooldown reduction, but be careful not to waste all of them. The strongest damaging skills in Photon Forge are the 3 and 4 but use the 2 constantly to leap and remove movement-inhibiting conditions and gain super speed.
The Spear 2 has mobility with a low cooldown, so be sure to use this to engage or disengage. Also, use the Spear 3 early because it takes a while to finish its animation at which point you can recast it for a ranged immobilize on your target which can be used to easily land your Spear 2/5 or Photon Forge combos.
Basic Combos:
- Spear 3 > 2 > 4 > 5 > 3 > 2
- Forge 3 > 4 > 2 > Tool Belt Skills > Prime Light Beam > 3
In between your bursts, you can kite with Superspeed from Holo Forge 2 or manage your heat by using Elixir Skills outside of Forge. Use the defensive utility skills when necessary and save Elixir U for a stun break or quickness when you want to be more aggressive

I think the build is no longer relevant, Cele was seriously ruined in WvW
I think this build is still viable post cele nerf. You need to use balthazar ruins as listed (and not the divinity ruins shown in the video). The “compounding chemicals” trait from alchemy gives you healing for applying boons so the loss of concentration and expertise from celestial doesn’t impact that.
