The Condition Staff Ambush Mirage is a Mesmer WvW roaming build that makes use of the synergy between Infinite Horizon and Deceptive Evasion to keep creating clones that will overwhelm your enemies with their Mirage Cloak Ambush attacks.

The Staff Ambush will slowly keep the pressure on your target with single stacks of Torment, Confusion, and Bleeding. The Scepter Ambush is faster and more aggressive pressure with more stacks of Confusion and Torment at once.

Besides the dodges, the build depends on Prismatic Understanding to survive, with many sources of stealth to disengage and gain boons. While you don’t have many cleanse abilities, the traits Illusionary Membrane and Renewing Oasis will suffice to buy time for your Cleansing Sigil on swap and disengage.

The shatters are mostly for survival with the F2 giving protection or if you need to interrupt with F3. You can use F2 for confusion bursts as well if you are ready to summon new clones, but it is more important to keep clones up rather than shatter to maintain pressure. Distortion F4 can be used defensively or offensively as you will gain invulnerability with Mirage Cloak at the same time for more ambushes and even more value by doing it while clones are up to create Mirage Crystals that will grant Mirage Cloak on touch.

It is important to know that keeping Vigor and Regeneration boons will improve your damage.

• Staff 3 + 2 > Dodge > Ambush (1) > 5 > Dodge > Ambush > Swap
• Torch 5 > Scepter 3 > Dodge > Ambush > 2 > 4 > Dodge > Ambush > Swap
