GW2. Condition Scourge Roaming Build.
Scourge has tons of condition pressure, but is one of the more vulnerable classes in WvW roaming, which is why they often run in zergs with many supports. This build aims to make up for that vulnerability with the utility skills that have escape potential to allow you to obliterate tanky roamers while still surviving thieves and mesmers.
Because Scourges only have barrier to buffer their health bar, they need extra protection to survive being focused. This build maximizes the condition damage from toughness with Undead Runes and Trailblazer while using all the utility skills that provide escape potential, allowing this build to deal heavy condition burst with great physical damage reduction.
Poke with staff marks until you are slightly closer to the target. Use Scepter 2 while kiting and Scepter 3 once they already have conditions on them to ramp up torment damage. If you can land Torch 5 to knock down, follow with Manifest Sand Shade and then Torch 4 while pressing all of your shade skills for burst damage.
You can swap Blood Magic traits for Curses to use Parasitic Contagion and Tormenting runes if you feel that you need more corrupt from the Path of Corruption trait but still want decent sustain.

Would you recommend a good middle ground rune to use if I want to run both the Celestial Scourge and Hybrid Corrupt Reaper builds? Since they both use Celestial but, different runes.
Go for Aristocracy rune on both, but make sure to select Weakening Shroud trait for scourge too. The mercy runes option is more support oriented.
