The Rifle Core Warrior is a very simple WvW roaming build that survives through sustained healing while dodging to stall fights long enough to land its rifle burst damage.
Use Staff as your defensive weapon and for mobility. The F1 on Staff can do decent damage, so save your adrenaline for this. The Rifle F1 also does damage, but is easy to avoid and there are other skills to use that do not lock you in place.
Rifle Combo
- Rifle 4 > 3 > 2 > 5 > 3 > 2
The Rifle is an evade that moves you backwards, so get used to using the About-Face technique to kite in the direction you want to since this build lacks mobility when not in the Staff set which takes longer to gain access to since there is no discipline trait line. High amounts of vigor and the Might Makes Right trait will provide plenty of dodges to survive until you can reach your Staff weapon swap.
Staff Healing Combo
- Staff 2 > 5 > 5 > 3 > 4 > F1
Avoid using the Signet of Rage as it will provide you adrenaline passively, but it can be cast for a burst of might to allow you to finish off targets. This is not often necessary since might uptime is already high. However, since Rifle is the main damage source, it can be countered by projectile reflects, so the main way to get around this is to use the Staff 3 which gives unblockable to your next few attacks then swap and rifle F1.
