The Celestial Untamed build for open world PvE has massive damage output and excellent boon uptime including might, protection, and quickness that can be shared with allies as well. Because of the many skills you can use, their ranged capabilities, and the amount of quickness you have, playing the build can require some fast key presses.
When using Unleashed Ambush skills (the 1 skill after using the Unleash Ranger F5) you gain quickness and due to Let Loose you can use them again after swapping weapons, so prioritize having your character unleashed instead of the pet. While the pet skills can be set as auto-cast (by CTRL Right Clicking them), the “Beast” F2 skill can be used manually to control the effect of the heal and boons from Invigorating Bond.
The Axe 2 and Shortbow 2 are the heaviest hitting skills, but they have a shotgun effect making them deal more damage in melee range.
Skill Priority
- Unleash Pet F5 > F1 > F2 > F3 when skills are off cooldown (around 20 seconds)
- Sharpening Stone whenever it is off cooldown (no animation)
- Unleash Ranger F5 > Axe 1 (Ambush) > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 2 > Swap
- Shortbow 1 (Ambush) > 2 > 4 > 5 > 111 > 2 > Swap
Swap pets off cooldown and use the F2 often for much of your boon application, and use the Exploding Spores whenever your weapon skills are on cooldown but you can’t swap weapon yet.

Awesome. My main is a ranger and I was using berserker hammer, doing good somehow, but your build is by far more complete self reliable to any situation. Good job!

Hello, I’m relatively new in GW2, so I have a question. You use Superior Sigil of Torment instead Superior Sigil of Geomancy because swaping to shortbow is not offten? Also, axe/axe 2 and 3 apply bleeding, can I use Plate of Kimchi Pancakes for dps increase? Thank you
open world situations are not always melee, so triggering the torment more reliably from range will result in more damage than missing geomancy sometimes because you can’t swap in melee range, only if you are on a dps golem will it look better

You want shortbow for condition damage, for longbow you want a power build, like the Sic Em Soulbeast
