The Celestial Virtuoso Open World build is a mesmer that applies profuse bleeding and the dagger skills to stock blades extremely fast to send out as many bladesongs as possible which generate more blades and bleeds. It is an aggressive build that survives while dealing damage by using long range and positioning as well as distortion to go invulnerable.

Despite lacking mobility, this build can easily traverse through maps because you don’t rely on clones to do your damage which allows you to frontload your damage every encounter.

Clones are replaced by blades as a virtuoso, but you stock blades very quickly when hitting with dagger attacks which cause bleeding on critically hitting. The dagger allows so much generation that you can stay on the dagger/pistol set and continually fire bladesong skills while filling the gap with dagger skills and using Signet of Illusions when you run out of shatters. You can swap to focus to pull enemies together to more easily pierce them with your dagger and bladesong shatter skills, but this is mostly useful in the opener when your weapon swap cooldown won’t stop your damage too much.
