GW2. WvW Build. Condition Druid WvW Roaming Build. Ranger WvW. Small Scale WvW Build.
Role: Bruiser
The Condition Druid is a ranger WvW roaming build that has one of the best condition cleanses in the game, and along with plenty of stealth uptime from Celestial Avatar, this build can be very survivable when picking the right situations. The use of many dazes and immobilizes allows you to single out and incapacitate an enemy while loading them up with conditions. It can also help allies and defend objectives, this build is not a dedicated healer but can assist allies with stealth, cleanses, and stops enemies through dazes and immobilizes.
Celestial Avatar abilities provide flexible playmaking potential with the Eclipse trait
- Seed of Life (2) instant cast with Blind+Poison can be used over and over, defensively to mitigate damage and offensively by reducing their healing potential (especially to prevent enemies from reviving)
- Lunar Impact (3) has an Immobilize on the daze, effectively locking enemies in place.
- Rejuvenating Tides (4) may not have much healing impact, but with the added chill it can be very strong for peeling enemies off of your allies.
- Natural Convergence (5) pulses Burning on top of the Slow and Cripple, making it great for overloading conditions onto your enemies.
Use Shortbow 4/5 to CC, and Poison Volley (Shortbow 2) in melee range. Also, use Lunar Impact (CA 3) to catch enemies and then use Natural Convergence (CA 5) next to them while they are dazed.
Use staff to kite and survive in between your combos. Use blasts from Lunar Impact (CA 3) and Ancestral Grace (Staff 3) for great sustain combos in your Water fields (Staff 5).

Would a celestial variant of this build work? If it does, would there be any changes needed?
You can make it work, its not the best but I had some cele builds before for druid, check here and adapt for your style: https://guildjen.com/celestial-druid-roaming-build/
Why is the staff not minstrelÉ
This is not a support build, if you looking for that check here: https://guildjen.com/support-druid-wvw-zerg-build/
Why is JUST the staff not Minstrel? No doing any conditions on the staff. Would just be slightly more healing?
The condition u applied on SB will do less damage after u switch to staff.
I hate that Ancient Seeds trait has been removed.
Any update with the New patch of june 2023 ?
Staff don’t apply any condition, so why not replacing it with axe torch ?
Build has been updated, staff is used for mobility and utility. You can replace and tweak the build to fit your playstyle if you wish.
Hey Jen! Tysm for sharing this — question, what would taking something similar to this into fractals look like?
I will say that I prefer a mix of more apothecary for the healing. With the nerf to Ancient Seeds, druid is even more reliant on making space and healing between bursts and the additional healing is massive.
Despite the nerfs still one of my all time favorite solo roaming builds.
Is this still better with trailblazer ? There is currently a celestial one going around with Axe/Dagger and Sword/Warhorn, wouldn’t that be a bit more tanky ? Whats your opinion on your trailblazer vs the celestial versions ?
Yes this is the best, however you can adapt in many ways for your playstyle.
Jen, please tell me, isn’t the Celestial variant better? I took your build and changed it a little, I liked it, it turns out to exert very strong pressure and deal strong damage
This build is very very bad
bad for what?
Bleeding damage is very bad compared to other damaging conditions, you will lose face against anybody with any resemblance of condi clear and it’s very easy to be ganked with this build
For what you describe I think you should try necro
This build is awful, guildjen just makes random stuff up that’s not very good just to seem like they are being innovative with builds vs metabattle with actual objective good standard builds that make more sense.
