GW2. Raid Build. Condition Renegade Alacrity DPS Build. Spear Revenant PvE. Group PvE Build.
Role: DPS
The Condition Renegade Alacrity DPS is a revenant build with ranged and condition damage options as well as decent utility for countering conditions with the Mallyx and Kalla stances. The damage takes time to ramp up but can be devastating in encounters that give it time to do so. It can be played as a full DPS, or with boon duration gear and one trait swap can be played as an alacrity provider.
Use Orders from Above (F4) off cooldown to maintain Alacrity when with your team.
If playing the DPS variant, use the F3 more with the extra energy not used for the F4.
Try to deplete your energy when legend swap is almost off cooldown so you can swap legends below 10 energy to get Charged Mists to trigger, giving an extra 25 energy. The F1-3 abilities can help to use more energy if needed.
The Spear 5 grants a stacking buff that will increase the damage and torment it applies, allowing you to deal massive damage just by repeatedly using it and the other spear skills which will reduce its cooldown.
Skill Priorities:
- Always swap legend stances when below 10 energy.
- In Kalla’s stance, use Razorclaw’s Rage after Icerazor’s Ire to get the extra torment from enhancing in the right order.
- In Mallyx Stance’s channel the elite Embrace the Darkness
- Camp your Spear and maximize how many times you can use the #5 skill. Reduce the recharge of the 5 by using 2 and 4 whenever it is off cooldown and just auto attack instead of using the 3.
- Kalla Stance
- Icerazor’s Ire
- Razorclaw’s Rage
- F3
- Mallyx Stance
- Embrace the Darkness (-1 Regen)
- Spear
- 5 > 2 > 5 > 4 > 5 > 111 > 5
Always use the Spear 2 when it is available because it recharges the 5 and you can delay using the 5 since it has a maximum of three ammo. However, do not delay the Spear 5 long enough that you lose your stacks or that you go over the cap on ammo. Only swap to Shortbow when you need extra CC or want easier-to-land ranged damage. Otherwise just staying on the Spear is best.
CC – Crowd Control Skills:
- Spear 4, Shortbow 5, Darkrazor’s Daring, Call to Anguish
