Hammer Variant
The Defense Spellbreaker is a Duelist that can force enemies to get close to it in 1v1s by contesting nodes where it can get kills with plenty of CC and boon removal.
Many of the skill combos revolve around landing a smaller daze or CC to immobilize the enemy, then following into a longer stun, then use hammer burst skills while they are stunned. Some of the basic combos look like this:
Dagger 3 > Shield 4 > Swap > Hammer 2 > 4 > 5 > 2
Full Counter Procs > Hammer 2 > F1 > Hammer 4 > 5 > 2 > Swap > Dagger F1 > 2

Alternatives:
- Defense: for more sustain and condition cleanse
- Spellbreaker: for better 1v1 kill potential, but at the cost of being very susceptible to blinds and other conditions
- Weapon: Staff can be utilized for more team fighting potential instead of D/Sh

With the Greatsword, the build has much more mobility to secure kills and to escape dangerous situations, but due to lacking the greatsword trait from strength and low might application, it won’t have as many damage modifiers as the hammer variant.
