The Power Spear Tempest is a DPS Elementalist PvP build that can deal massive Area of Effect damage through overloads or the Spear skills. While this build is very squishy, it can survive by its many CC skills which apply Weakness to enemies from Lightning Rod and the protection it applies to itself.

The Spear allows for long-range damage to freely cast but can be hard to land on moving targets. Spear revolves around the #5 skills which are Etchings. They grant boons based on the Etching attunement and if three skills of any kind are used inside the Etching a more powerful ability can be used. While the Air Etching is the most powerful, the others are situationally useful depending on the combo. Fire attunement has high damage but harder-to-land skills, requiring you to combo them with the CC from Water or Air attunement.

If you struggle to land the skills, utilize the Instant Ground Targeting with Retargeting Enabled or the Snap Ground Target to Current Target settings.
