GuildJen Fashion Contest

Every month, GuildJen is hosting a fashion contest and every Guild Wars 2 player is invited to participate. The community itself will be the judge and 5 finalists will be selected for a chance to win 💎 800 Gems.

These finalists will be featured in a video and the community will also vote to choose the winner. You will also have a chance to win 💎 400 Gems simply by casting your vote!

We will be using these videos to feature the finalists on the website and keep a log of what is the best “Fashion of the Month”

How to participate – Phase 1

In Discord we have a dedicated channel #fashion-contest where you can post your entry, with the following format:

Character Name and Account Name
2 Screenshots (no more)
Max 1 entry per account

The first phase of the contest will last one week where every member of the community on Discord can rate and vote on these entries by reacting to them with an emoji. We will use the following scale:

⭐= 10 Points
❤️= 5 Points
👍= 1 Point

NOTE: A single person can vote using all 3 emoji separated or together, so a minimum of 1 and up to 16 points. Other emojis won’t count. You can cast your votes in one or many participants.

Finalists – Phase 2

At the end of the first week, we will count and select the 5 entries with the most points and prepare the “finalist video” to showcase their fashion in a more detailed way.

The finalists will need to be available in the next 3 days so we can record their characters in-game to feature them in Youtube. (if not another person will replace them)

NOTE: For the recording, the finalists can choose Day-Time or Night-Time. The location of the recording will take place in the Cantha Guild Hall or the Vabbi Guild Hall, finalists can choose between them. As alternative, the finalists can also choose the Home Instances as the location for recording.

In the following days, one of our content creators will publish a YouTube video where everybody can comment and vote for their favorite finalist by mentioning it in their comment. Each person who votes in this phase has a chance to win💎 400 Gems by adding their in-game account to the vote.

For example:

Youtube comment: I vote Finalist 3 – My GW2 account is Jen.6021

After 5 days of publishing the video, we will count the votes in the comments, and select the winner of the contest which will be awarded with 💎 800 Gems and a random voter who wins 💎 400 Gems.

Everyone is invited to join our community even if not participating themselves, just to see the other participants or to vote and take a chance at winning the giveaway.
