The Lightning Rod Catalyst is a power DPS elementalist build which gains heavy burst damage from the modified stats and overlapping multiple traits and effects during CC combos. It survives while having such an aggressive setup due to the high stability uptime, cleansing of auras, the protection and healing gained from the Earth and Water Jade Sphere combos, and weakness from CCs.
