Power Axe Daredevil Roaming Build

Role: Assassin

The Power Axe Daredevil is a Thief WvW Roaming build that uses spinning axes to set up heavy burst combos, though this setup time can allow enemies more time to react to you than a more traditional Thief build. It also has more boon rip to handle the tanky classes from the Rending Shade trait which can trigger twice when you perform your burst combo to gain their boons and allow you to penetrate their defenses.

Cunning Salvo is the stealth attack (1) on Axe which does heavy damage, restores initiative if it hits, and due to traits will give boon rip and life steal. To gain access to this you need stealth which can be entered by using the Pistol 5 and dodging through it for a leap finisher due to the Bound Daredevil dodge. This attack spins on the ground like the other axe skills which will linger for 10 seconds until you recall them with skill 3, repeating the stealth attack for more of the shadow arts trait to trigger and dealing massive damage.

Basic Combo: Pistol 5 > Axe 2 > Dodge > Sneak Attack 1 > 1 > 3

Ideally, you want at least 5 spinning axes before using the 3 to recall them, which you can easily get by filling in auto attacks anywhere in the combo, but as long as you get your sneak attack off it can be worth it to converge with fewer axes.
