Role: DPS 
The Power Reaper DPS is a necromancer build with great cleave and CC while being extremely survivable. It is one of the more forgiving and versatile builds that can self buff might and quickness while also having a visceral and fun playstyle, making it one of the best builds for beginners.
You will do more damage in Shroud, but swapping in and out is necessary to give the damage bonus from Soul Barbs and regain life force. Prioritize using the Shroud generating weapon skills like Greatsword 3/5 and any of the Staff skills while out of shroud. Always use your Wells before going into Shroud to increase their damage.
Use both weapons’ higher priority skills first and then swap weapon to the other. When Shroud is off cooldown you should enter it if you have enough life force. Greatsword 2 is a slow animation, but can be repeatedly used if the target is below 50% health.
Skill Rotation:
- Staff 5 > 3 > 4 > 2
- Greatsword 3 > 4 > 5
- Greatsword 2
- Always use Well of Darkness and Well of Suffering before entering Shroud
Reaper Shroud Priority:
- Shroud 5 if Chill uptime is needed (damage bonus to chilled targets), otherwise only use it if the target is below 50% health
- Shroud 4
- Shroud 2
- Shroud 1 (finish third attack in chain)
- Leave Shroud before Soul Barbs buff wears off

What changes were made to this build on May 2023? it looks the same
no changes were made to the build, it just does more damage, which essentially means no changes, but for the sake of answering the question of whether the build is updated we just change the date if needed
can you review a GS power reaper build after SOTO? SC and HS changed their builds to use torch instead of staff, but i dont like their complex rotations, and i wonder if you can make this simple rotation build take into account the new SOTO possibilties?
The build is up to date as it is now, nothing changed, we don’t make builds for speed runners who update their rotations all the time

Was wondering though..
I read the rotation on Greatsword like this : Greatsword 3 > 4 > 5
Is it not better to press 5 > 4 > 3 to have the animation cancel of 5 -> 4 and then Whirl finisher with the 3 ?
