GW2. Raid Build. Support Herald. Ventari Quickness Herald. Revenant PvE. Group PvE Build.
Role: Support or Kiter
The Support Herald is a revenant build with the best raw healing in the game. It can also give protection, regeneration, fury, might, and quickness to allies. While its healing and boon output is amazing, it can lack utility. However, it does have two unique utilities it can bring to its team including the flexible projectile block from the Ventari Tablet’s Protective Solace and the Staff 5 which is one of the best CCs in the game. The Support Herald It is also a great kiter due to its superior survivability and ability to heal the group from range. Give boons in the Glint stance and healing/cleansing in the Ventari stance.
Passive Healing Sources:
- Facet of Light Regeneration, Ventari’s Tablet (move on top of group), Facet of Nature F2 Passive in Ventari
Active Healing Sources:
- Scepter 1/2, Shield 4, Staff 1/2/4, Natural Harmony, Energy Expulsion
Condition Cleanse:
- Purifying Essence, Energy Expulsion, Staff 4, Activate F2 in Ventari Stance
CC – Crowd Control Skills:
- Staff 5, Facet of Chaos Active, Energy Expulsion
Besides keeping your teammates alive, the priority is to upkeep quickness and many other boons on your squad which is provided by having a minimum of six (-6 or 1 degeneration) arrows of energy upkeep, so try to upkeep the Facet skills that you don’t need the actives for. Keeping a good spread of boons means rotating through your facets. Combine the Facet upkeep between these skills:
Facet Costs (add up to 6)
- Light (Regeneration) – 1
- Elements (Swiftness) – 1
- Strength (Might) – 2
- Darkness (Fury) – 2
- Chaos (Protection) – 4
- Nature (F2) – 2
The best way to provide a good boon spread with 6 upkeep is to maintain the passives of Facet of Light, Strength, Elements, and Darkness. This gives fury, might, protection, and swiftness. However, this leaves Protection, a very important boon out. You can maintain more than 6 upkeep for more boons, but if you run out of energy you won’t be able to provide Quickness. Swap between providing Protection with Chaos, and then Fury, Might, and Swiftness with the other Facets. Activating the Facet of Nature F2 will also extend boons. If needed, you can provide Quickness with the Protective Solace in Ventari stance.
Because most of your skills are either passive or have no animation, most of your time can be spent auto-attacking with your Scepter to provide sustain to nearby allies while using Ventari’s Will (heal skill) to heal allies at a distance. Use Scepter 3 and 2 on the main target your allies are attacking when possible.
