GW2. WvW Build. Support Tempest WvW Zerg Build. Support Tempest. Elementalist World vs World.
Last Update: October 2024
The Support Tempest is a healer Elementalist build for WvW squads which has great utility with either the Staff for large AoE support and CC or powerful Aura Sharing capabilities with Double Daggers. It can out-of-combat swap between staff or daggers depending on the situation.
Earth Variant
The Staff and Earth version of Heal Tempest provides a wide variety of utility and support whether it is through protection and stability from the Earth attunement, Superspeed and CC from Air, or cleansing and healing from Water.
Blast Finishers inside Combo Fields will cleanse conditions on affected allies due to the Diamond Skin trait. There are many combo fields and finishers in this build to enable this.
Combo Fields: Water 3/4/5, Air 5, Fire 4, Overload Fire, Overload Air
Blast Finishers: Water 2, Earth 2, Earth 3 (Transmuted), “Aftershock!”, Arcane Wave, Overload Earth
Because you provide area Ice Aura by using blast finishers in your Water 4 Ice Field, and Auras give many benefits like healing from tempest trait, boons, and cleansing, this is where you want to use most of your blasts. However, depending on the situation you may want to spread out your support in longer windows of time rather than burst it all at once. Overhealing is wasted, and Karakosa relic will provide extra healing on any blast finisher regardless of which field it is done inside.
Basic Healing Rotation:
- Earth 3 > 3 > Overload > 3 > 2 > Swap Water
- Water 4 > 2 > Overload > 5 > 2 > Swap Air
- Air 4 > Air 5 > Arcane Blast > Aftershock > Swap Earth
Because you lack healing while in the Earth or Air attunements, it is best to save your utility skill cooldowns such as your Heal skill, the extra blast finishers, or the Glyph of Renewal for this window of time.
Using the Aftershock inside your Air 5 will create the cleansing blast, but will also give you magnetic aura, so it is important to use this slightly before you enter into Earth attunement so you can use the Earth 3 to transmute that aura for extra support to allies.

Fire Variant
Using Daggers and Fire traits, you can cleanse an immense amount of conditions by sharing auras and transmuting them (reactivating the Dagger Air 3 or Water 4) while also healing allies with the auras you share. Also Overloading Fire will share out plenty of Might to allies with the Pyromancer’s Puissance trait, making this a more aggressive option.
Basic Healing Rotation:
- Air 3×2 > Air Overload > 3 > Swap Water
- Water 3 > 4×2 > Water 5 > Overload > 4 > Swap Fire
- Fire 3 > 2 > Overload > 4 > Swap Earth
- Earth 4 > 5 > 3 > Overload > Swap Air
Be sure to use the blast finishers from Water 3 and Earth 4/5 in your Fire/Air fields to trigger the Karakosa Relic for more healing to your allies.

It says diamond skin works on leap finishers, not finishers in general to cleanse a condi.
If so maybe arcane would be better, or is the tooltip wrong?
Any other relics for those who don’t have a soto?
