GW2. Amnytas. The Waylit Lantern Achievement Guide. Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure.
This achievement is a collection for which you need to assist Lyhr in discovering the history of his own relic. After completing Act 3 of the Secrets of the Obscure story journal, you will receive a mail from Lyhr titled “A Simple Task” allowing you to start this quest.
The rewards for this are 6AP, the title “Heart of Deldrimor”, Lyhr’s own relic and the exclusive torch skin

- Speak to Lyhr in the Wizard’s Tower.
To start, visit Lyhr in the Wizard’s Tower at Forge of Timelessness – [&BA8OAAA=] and ask him about the mail he sent you.
- Retrieve Lyhr’s Relic by defeating the Avatars of Rage and Regret in the Bastion of Balance.
For this step you need to defeat both Champion Avatar at Great Debate Hall – [&BAkOAAA=] and keep in mind this is part of a chain of events.
- Escort Lyhr to the Great Debate Hall so he can rebalance himself
- Bring order to the Great Debate Hall by defeating Kryptis and smashing the gavel
- Engage the avatars and free the Bastion of Balance

- Return to Lyhr.
Return to Lyhr in the Wizard’s Tower at Forge of Timelessness – [&BA8OAAA=] and ask him about the lantern.
- Gain favor with Elrik by defeating the possessed dwarf at Droknar’s Forge.
For this step you need to defeat the possesed dwarf at Droknar’s Forge – [&BLcNAAA=] keep in mind this is part of a chain of events.
- Protect Forgemaster Elrik while he gathers scrap metal
- Bring high-quality billet to Forgemaster Elrik while the forge is active
- Defeat the dwarf before they’re fully possessed

- Speak with Elrik.
After completing the chain of events in the previous step, you can interact with Elrik next to the forge and ask him to help you with something.
- Get a history lesson from a dwarf at the Durmand Priory Headquarters.
Go to Durmand Priory Waypoint – [&BOkAAAA=] and head to the entrance of the instanced area, west of the hero point. Once inside head northeast to the head office where you can talk with Ogden Stonehealer.
- Find Novice Taeya in Lornar’s Pass near Guutra’s Homestead.
Head to Guutra’s Secret – [&BE4GAAA=] in Lornar’s Pass and speak with Novice Taeya.
- Speak to Timin Blastburl near Dwarves’ Gloaming.
From the previous step go to west to find Timin Blastburl near the lake edge and speak with him.
- Help collect dwarven artifacts.
On the same area in the False Lake, complete the event “Collect dwarven artifacts from False Lake for Innkeeper Klement” this is the first of a chain of events.
- Collect dwarven artifacts from False Lake for Innkeeper Klement
- Defend Klement and Fabri from pirate thieves
- IF FAIL: Defeat the transformed pirates
- Escort the asuran researchers to Vanjir’s Stead
- Defeat Lord Ignius the Eternal
Keep in mind, after this event is completed an escort chain of events will continue, so if this event is not up you will need to check if the escort is active towards the Venison Pass area.
- Return to Timin.
After completing the event, return to Timin Blastburl and give him the trinkets.
- Speak to Von Delverunner inside King Jalis’s Refuge.
At north of Drakentelt – [&BI4AAAA=] in Snowden Drifts, find the entrance to the King Jalis’s Refuge jumping puzzle. Find Von Delverunner at south of the treasure room and ask him about more information. If you need more help with the jumping puzzle check the following video:

- Seek out dwarves investigating the Forsaken Halls in Dredgehaunt Cliffs.
Head to west of Wyrmblood Waypoint – [&BGUCAAA=] in Dredgehaunt Cliffs and interact with the Sealed Dwarven Door to get inside the Forsaken Halls area.
If you can’t enter directly, head to Travelen’s Waypoint – [&BGQCAAA=] and find Gerrvid inside the house to start the escort event which will open the door.
Forsaken Halls is a mini-dungeon, once inside you must help Gerrvid by carrying the torch. Once you reach the second chamber head to the southwest of the room by the stairs to find the Dwarven Journal, once you pick it up open your inventory and use it (double click).
- Find Riley Waylit in Nakrojos Pass.
Go to Seven Pines Waypoint – [&BFkCAAA=] and speak with Riley Waylit about the journal.
- Return to Lyhr.
Finally return to Lyhr in the Wizard’s Tower at Forge of Timelessness – [&BA8OAAA=] and tell him about the lantern to finish the collection.
