The Wayward Wisp Quest is a side-story unlocked through the Wizard’s Vault. After completing it, you will receive the unique ascended accessory with the and 13AP.

This collection requires you to do some tasks in the Mistburned Barrens, therefore you will need access to the Janthir Wilds expansion to unlock it.

This guide will provide all the information you need to complete the Wayward Wisp Quest.

Mastery Required: Mursaat Mirror and Movement.

The Wayward Wisp: Vault Dispatch

---

• Purchase the Wayward Wisp Quest License from the Wizard’s Vault.
  • To unlock this collection, buy the Quest License from the Wizard’s Vault for 500 Astral Acclaim

• Speak with Field Archivist Cierle in Mistburned Barrens.
  • Talk to Field Archivist Cierle
  • You can find them sitting at the edge of the Alliance Staging Ground, northwest of the Waypoint – [&BFAPAAA=]

---

• Complete events across Mistburned Barrens to draw forth the wayward wisp.
  • Complete 4 events in Mistburned Barrens

---

• Return to Field Archivist Cierle.
  • Talk again to Field Archivist Cierle
  • You will find them sitting at the same spot they were earlier

---

• Ask Valiant Aria for guidance in your pursuit of the wayward wisp.
  • Find them standing near Field Archivist Cierle, northwest of the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint – [&BFAPAAA=]

• Seek out the wayward wisp. Whenever you’re close, use your Warclaw’s sniff to reveal the wisp.
  • For this step, you need to find 4 wisps at specific spots in Mistburned Barrens
  • When in the area use the Sniff Warclaw ability

• Outreach 1: Connect with the wayward wisp between the Grand Athenaeum and the Laboratory.
  • Use the updrafts near The Unseen Passage – [&BF4PAAA=] to gain altitude and head to the zone marked in yellow. Use Warclaw sniff to reveal the wisp

• Outreach 2: Connect with the wayward wisp atop the vines between the Nexus of Moonlight and the Grand Athenaeum.
  • Use the Mursaat Mirror located above the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint – [&BFAPAAA=], you will end at the top of The Obsidian Scar point of interest [&BEkPAAA=]
  • From there using your Warclaw, head to the north path and turn left to use the updraft. Interact with the second mirror
  • Finally, after the mirror travel, glide down to the spot. Use Warclaw sniff to reveal the wisp

• Outreach 3: Connect with the wayward wisp overlooking the waterfalls on the eastern edge of the Valley of Agony.
  • Use the Mursaat Mirror at Seer’s March and head to the zone marked yellow using your Warclaw air jumps. Then use Warclaw sniff to reveal the wisp

• Outreach 4: Connect with the wayward wisp atop the ruins in the Golden Lake.
  • Use the updraft north of Lakeside Watch – [&BEsPAAA=] to reach the zone marked in yellow. Then use Warclaw sniff to reveal the wisp

• Ask Valiant Aria for guidance to perfect your bond with the wayward wisp.
  • Return and talk to Valiant Aria. You will find them at the same location they were earlier, northwest of the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint – [&BFAPAAA=]

• Perfect your bond with the wayward wisp by communing together at the Mastery Insight in the Hidden Sacrarium.
  • Head to the Hidden Sacrarium and commune the Mastery Insight

• Report Back to Field Archivist Cierle.
  • Return and talk to Field Archivist Cierle. Find them sitting at the same spot they were earlier.
  • You will now obtain the ascended item with the infusion on it
  • Use a to remove it and use it in your equipment
