Janthir Wilds: Act 4 Mastery
This is the meta-achievement for Act 4 of the Janthir Wilds Story “Repentance”. You need to complete 12 eligible achievements. The rewards are 10AP and a
mastery point.
Into the Valley of Shadow
Told Ya So – 1AP
At the very start of the instance, use the /facepalm emote in front of Poised Arrow before they move.
Wayward Wayfinder – 1AP
Right after Isgarren offers his protection to walk inside the Valley of Agony, do not move and wait until they walk ahead of you.
Yagon Begone – 1AP
For this achievement, defeat a total of 35 Mursaat ghosts when they swarm you. These ghosts don’t do much damage and are easy to eliminate. Make sure to kill them before your allies.
Into the Valley of Shadow – 1AP – 1MP
Complete the Into the Valley of Shadow story mission.
A Legacy Damned
Field Updates – 1AP
Before leaving the camp, interact with Poised Arrow, Isgarren, and Anise. You will get the achievement after listening to all three dialogues.
Conqueror of the Lake – 1AP
For this achievement, you need to defeat an elite Ruinshard Scuttler without going down. This enemy will summon other minions and a protective bubble to negate projectile attacks. A melee build with attacks that can hit multiple targets will be the best option here.
Once Golden, Now Tarnished – 1AP
Once the instance is completed do not leave, this achievement has 3 steps:
- Interact with the Tattered Letter
- Interact with the Peculiar Bush
- Interact with the Lover’s Wall
A Legacy Damned – 1AP – 1MP
Complete the A Legacy Damned story mission.
Penance for the Past
So Touchy – 3AP
This achievement and the next few can only be obtained in the first part of the instance (Veiled Library), if you progress ahead you will need to restart.
Interact with a total of 17 objects within the Veiled Library, check the map below for the complete list of locations. Be aware that some of the locations are on the upper floor which can be accessed by the staircases.
Barren of Mistburned – 3AP
For this achievement, you need to eliminate 6 groups of enemies in the Veiled Library. Check the map below with the following locations.
- Mistburned Bees: South – Blue
- Mistburned Bees: North – Blue
- Mistburned Reindeer – Pink
- Mistburned Iboga: South – Yellow
- Mistburned Iboga: North – Yellow
- Mistburned Valravn – Red
Expert Exterminator – 3AP
For this achievement, you are required to find and defeat 3 hidden enemies inside the Veiled Library. Each one of these enemies has a mini-puzzle to solve before they show up.
- Find and defeat the hunger-crazed murellow
- Find and pick up the “Rotten Meat” (location is random in the area) then take it to the “Dank Nest” (number 7 in the map for “So Touchy” above) and the boss will spawn
- Find and defeat the imprisoned jade armor
- Interact with the “Strange Tablet” and then interact with the different talismans in a specific order, then return to the tablet to fight the boss
- Lifespring – Midsummer – Arboreal – Mistral (8 > 9 > 10 > 11 in “So Touchy” map above)

- Interact with the “Strange Tablet” and then interact with the different talismans in a specific order, then return to the tablet to fight the boss
- Find and defeat the source of the spider infestation
- Search and destroy 6 groups of spiders. The spots can be found by looking for the spider webs on the walls. Once all the spiders are defeated go to the “Spider Nest” (12 in above map) and the boss will spawn

Complete the Penance for the Past story mission.
