The Condition Mirage is a Duelist/Roamer Mesmer PvP build with the potential for great mobility due to the Sword Ambush ability (1 after Dodge), Jaunt, and Blink to escape from bad matchups and outnumbered situations, or to play as a Roamer to create pressure around the map. However, most of the damage of this build is designed around fighting 1v1s on nodes with the staff and sword clones constantly pressuring the target with their ambushes due to Infinite Horizon whenever you dodge.
Interrupting enemies will provide you extra cooldown reduction on your weapon skills and will blind/confuse the enemy, which can be oppressive in 1v1s. You can gain these interruptions by dazing enemies with the F3 shatter, Torch 5, the Sword Ambush, your clones repeating the Sword Ambush, or the Staff 5. Locking down the enemy like this will give you time to build up your clones for a confusion-shatter burst using the F2.
The Staff 4 and Jaunt are both instant cast abilities that apply confusion as well, so using them at the same time as your F2 allows heavy confusion application with little time for enemies to react.

- Staff 2 + 3 > 5 > Jaunt + Staff 4 + F2
Sword / Torch
- Torch 4 (wait for the explosion) > Jaunt + Torch 5 > Sword 3 > 3 > Dodge > Ambush 1 > F2
Your main job as a duelist is to capture objectives, but this can often put you in risky situations where you can die. Try to hold the objectives as long as you can to attract enemy attention, then use your Staff 2, Sword Ambush, and Blink to rotate around the map and secure other objectives or kills. Creating pressure on multiple objectives like this is the unique strength of a Mesmer, but it is also necessary to make up for the general lack of sustain compared to other duelists. You also can’t hold nodes too well because you will eventually need to use Distortion which loses capture progress. For this reason, map awareness and rotation is extremely important.

Is there a great sword varient that works at the moment?
there is no greatsword variant of this build, but there is a greatsword mirage build on the list
shorts the chrono god in my opinion told me mirage is kind of bad is this true?

Can I replace Signet of Illusions with anything? I hate that skill with a passion.
It was just there to made generating clones easier
But if you want, tou can replace it with mantra of distraction or decoy
