GW2. WvW Build. Condition Tempest WvW Roaming Build. Elementalist WvW. Small Scale WvW Build.
The Condition Tempest is an Elementalist WvW roaming build that has great survivability to allow it to cast its long but powerful overloads. The might generated from Fire Attunement enables decent damage from conditions mostly in the Fire and Earth attunements while the Air attunement grants great mobility and CC to set up your damage and the Water attunement
The sheer survivability from having improved protection from Tempest against power burst damage and Smothering Auras from Fire for cleansing conditions means you can stick to your enemies in melee range very easily, constantly triggering Geomancy and Doom sigils on them for decent damage. Earth and fire attunements are where the damage happens. Try to always stay to overload fire and earth attunement every time you go into them.
Use auras and transmute them by recasting for a total of 3 conditions cleanse accessible by Air 3 and Water 4. Due to the Written in Stone trait, Signets of Air and Restoration create a shocking aura and frost aura respectively, allowing you to transmute these in the proper attunements. Also using these signets does not remove their passive effects, so use the heal signet liberally especially since it will apply swiftness and remove movement-inhibiting conditions like chill and immobilize which are the hardest counters to this build.
Basic Rotation
- Air 4 > 3 > “Aftershock!” > 3 > 5 > 2 > Swap Fire
- Fire 3 > 2 > 4 > Fire Overload > Swap Earth
- Earth 3 > 2 > 4 > 5 > Earth Overload > Swap Air or Water
Fiery Greatsword can be used for more mobility on the 3 and 4 skills, and the 2 skill is great for burning enemies while they are immobilized by Aftershock or Earth Overload. You can also cast overloads while wielding it.

Could you be so kind to return the hybrid support variant for the small scale roaming please? If it is possible. Thank you!
I removed it because it wasnt performing good anymore, there is more damage overall on enemies now and a support celestial don’t have enough self sustain nor enough healing. I suggest you go the zerg build here https://guildjen.com/support-tempest-wvw-zerg-build/
Still if you want the traits for the old variant here is: [&DQYfKRErMD91AAAAdBIAAB0BAACQAAAAmRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=]
Thank you for the answer! Thank you for the traits!
Is stone hard still of any use after the change? 4s and 2s doesnt sound very helpful.
a nerf doesn’t mean its unusable, and name a better option
This build is still strong. Really love it. Only 2 clicks from a D/D Zerg Support to a nice Roaming Class give me a lot of fun.
Can scepter focus work as well.
Sure but will be worst mobility
Which relic can I use since I don’t have soto?
Antitoxin or Water or Speed
What do you think about dire replacing plague doctor for the trinkets?
It’s possible but the healing does really help.
