The DPS Dragonhunter is a guardian WvW build with heavy burst damage from weapons as well as access to leaps for engaging or disengaging from the enemy. This mobility allows you a much more reactive playstyle that is versatile in WvW fights where movement is necessary.

Dragonhunters also have great utility for their team compared to other DPS classes because of the F3 Shield of Courage which can give stability to allies and block attacks for them. This allows your group to survive deep engagements against burst damage. The F1 Spear of Justice can be used to pull enemies which sacrifices their positioning and makes them an easy kill when they are without support.

Swap between Spear and Greatsword to do big damage combos while using the leap from F2 or the Greatsword 3 to engage enemies. The F2 is an Immobilize that can be used to catch players out of position even when they have stability.

Burst Combos

Melee Engage

• F2 > Procession of Blades > Spear 5 > 4 > 3 > Swap
• Test of Faith > Greatsword 4 > 2 > 3

Ranged Bomb

• F1 > Spear 5 > 4 > Sword of Justice

Whenever doing a burst, use Litany of Wrath (if equipped), or F3 to block, to ensure you can survive long enough to finish the burst.
