The Power Core Ranger is a Duelist PvP build that gets high crit modifiers from the Valkyrie amulet while not being squishy due to its vitality. It makes up for the lack of precision through Intelligence sigils and the Remorseless trait which occurs whenever you gain fury and makes your next attack have a 100% chance to crit and deal 25% more damage. Using these buffs and singular but hard-hitting attacks, you can do great burst damage while still being relatively tanky.

Swapping Pets, using Survival utility skills, swapping weapons, and disabling enemies will trigger fury and therefore give your next attack a critical hit. Dodging gives protection which will heal you. Always use your Axe 3, Dagger 4, or Greatsword 2 when your next hit is guaranteed to crit because these have the hardest singe-hitting damages.

Pets can also deal a significant amount of damage when buffed with Remorseless, so try to combo with them to burst your target by swapping pet (which grants them fury) and pressing F1 to make them attack instantly.

Basic Combo:

• Dagger 5 > Axe 3 + Pet Swap > F1
• Heal Skill (in Melee Range) > Dagger 4 > Axe 2 > Swap Weapon
• Quickening Zephyr + Greatsword 2 > Pet F2 + 5 > 2 > 3

While this build lacks mobility, playing the role of a duelist does not require you to move too much except when outnumbered. Try to get off the objective when outnumbered and survive with the evade from Dagger 4, Greatsword 3, and the block from Greatsword 4. Use your Heal Skill off cooldown even if you might overheal because it can take some time for it to fully heal you, and it grants fury to boost your damage while also placing Muddy Terrain beneath you to disrupt enemy movement.
