GW2. Best Open World Build. Power Dual Wield Berserker Open World. Warrior PvE.
The Power Dual Wield Berserker is an Open World PvE build with the fastest attack speed possible due to the quickness uptime and the Dual Wielding trait. The Axe weapon benefits the most from fast attack speeds because it can generate adrenaline extremely fast due to the Axe Mastery trait to constantly use the Axe Primal Burst skill which recharges on hit. This allows infinite use of the Axe F1 as long as you can hit the target which gives you high damage, boons, and extends the duration of your berserk mode.
This build is a glass cannon that is full melee with minimal CC and mobility, meaning it can do tons of damage but lacks active and passive defenses. Mostly this build survives by timing Endure Pain to negate specific attacks, and passive healing the more damage you deal. Learning how to strafe while performing your attacks to keep proper positioning is important.
Skill Combos
Open up by getting adrenaline and entering Berserk Mode, then use Axe F1 as often as possible while filling in the gaps with the adrenaline generating combos listed below.
- Headbutt + Dolyak Signet > Enter Berserk F2
- Axe F1 > (Adrenaline Combo) > Repeat
Adrenaline Combos (Gain 10 adrenaline to use Axe F1)
- Axe 2 > 3
- Axe 4 > 3
- Axe 5
- Any Rage Utility
If you run out of adrenaline combos, simply auto-attacking will gain adrenaline quickly as well. Even if you have other cooldowns up, just auto-attacking is also a more simple way to do great damage since it gets you to your F1 skill just as quickly which is your main skill.
