The Power Mirage for Open World is a mesmer build that sustains itself by dodging a ridiculous amount. Dodging creates clones and enables you and those clones to use Ambush skills which improve the 1 skill of each weapon. On Dagger, the Ambush skill is a daze which can apply tons of vulnerability and grant you quickness due to the Domination traits; and on the Greatsword, Split Surge is a beam that spreads to multiple targets and will pierce them and give you might the more enemies it hits.
Using these ambushes is your main damage source, especially because of the Infinite Horizon trait that makes your clones copy your ambushes. Maintain 3 clones to maximize the damage and then enable ambushes by Dodging, using Illusionary Ambush, or picking up Mirage Mirrors created by your utility skills.
Timing is important to survival because using your evades offensively will leave you out of defensive resources and vulnerable to attacks. While this build is quite squishy, with the right positioning and fast reactions it can be very rewarding due to how much damage and mobility it has.

- Summon Clones (Greatsword 4/2) (Dagger 2/Sword 5)
- Dodge > Ambush (1)
- Mimic + Illusionary Ambush
- Shatter F1 if clone generating skills are ready before your next dodge

This build still viable? How do i decide between marauder or berserker stats and what would actually be the best? Thanks for all your amazing work!
Go berserker armor and marauder accesories like he does here.. I think its more balanced than full berserker.
I only somehow like full berserker with Chrono as it has more defensives.
Really cool build. Offers some complexity and it’s unique way of surviving. Very nice this new iteration is just as cool as the old one.
Old version offers great sustain and newer is kinda to squishy for me….Question is will it work with dagger/sword but with old traits?
That’s up to you. If you can’t survive then more defense is the answer.
any good alternative to the surging runes?
I just use the basic dragon hunter runes. you miss out on move speed yes, but if your working on getting surging its a good option to run for more damage till you get it. Just have to time those dodges really well.
