As one of the more complex specializations, weaver can be hard to get into. However, the Fire Weaver build can be extremely survivable for open world PvE with the amount of healing, boons, and barrier it gains while generating might through combos to increase the damage of the pulsing burns.
Because your offhand skills will be delayed one attunement swap, it can be difficult to see what skills you will have available before you can use them. Sticking to a strict rotation is important to maximizing the skills you use. Avoid swapping into Air/Water and prioritize swapping into Air/Fire every time Pyro Vortex is off cooldown around every 15 seconds. The Attunement rotation generally looks like this:
Air > Fire > Earth > Water
Fire > Air > Fire > Earth
Water > Fire > Air > Fire
Use Primordial Stance when in Fire and Earth attunement. Use Glyph of Lesser Elementals in Fire. Weave Self can be used for burst phases or just off cooldown for more damage, but only use the second cast of the elite Tailored Victory if CC is required.
However, not every enemy will require a full rotation to get through, so learning some basic combos can also be useful:
Fire/Air Combo
- Air 2 > Swap Fire > Air 5 > 4 > Fire 2 > 3
Fire/Earth Combo
- Fire 2 > Swap Earth > Earth 2 > 3 > Fire 5
Heal Combos
- Water 2 > Swap Earth > Earth 2
- Earth > Swap Water > 2 > Earth 4
- Water 2 > Swap Fire > Fire 2

Soon the runes will be fixed, will they remain relevant or is there an alternative?
Rune of Sanctuary was nerfed. is 10% still enough Barrier or should we Take more Dmg?
Sanctuary is fine, you can take Elementalist Rune if you want more damage
Hi Jen! Just wondering, I got the stat-selectable sword from the weaver elite spec, should I pick cele, viper, or grieving, given that the rest of my gear is celestial from the boost? Thanks!
If your main focus is open world pve deff go always full Celestial, and don’t worry about the selection now, if in the future you need a different one you can change stats in ascended with a recipe in the mystic forge
Which of the new relics do you recommend I use with this build? Warrior? Fireworks?
