Rover is the main character that wields a Sword, and begins using the Spectro element. Since this is the main character you start with, you’ll be using them for a while until you can get a better character or upgrade to a new element. They can be played as a Sub DPS or DPS.

Pros – Cheap to build sequences on. Easy to play and free to earn.

Cons – Short attack ranges that are hard to hit moving enemies with

Team Compositions – Use whoever you can at the start of the game, but since Yangyang is already available as well she can be a great addition to lock enemies together so you can land your attacks.

Skills and Playstyle

Basic Attack – A four chain of attacks with the final hit dealing more damage and providing Forte gauge.

Heavy Attack – Hold to spin your sword in front of you. This has a short range, so you want to use it on enemies right in front of you and that won’t move. After using the Heavy Attack, you can use two Basic Attacks to grab your sword and punch forward, dealing even more damage and gaining a significant amount of Forte. Prefer to do the Heavy > 2 Basic combo over just Basic Attacks.

Dodge Counter – After dodging, use a Basic Attack to deal a decent amount of damage.

Resonance Skill – A quick spin attack that is a low cooldown. This can be improved by your Forte gauge, so try not to use it below 50% Forte.

Forte Circuit – Empowers the Resonance Skill to do a more powerful spin attack, and after this you can use a Basic Attack to follow up for even more damage. Prioritize this Resonance Skill > Basic Attack combo whenever you have Forte above 50%.

Resonance Liberation (R) – Deals a massive amount of damage in a wide radius in front of and behind you.

Rotation

Use the Heavy Attack > 2 Basic Attacks combo to quickly gain Forte, and then use the E > Basic Attack combo when above 50% Forte.

E (when above 50% Forte) > Basic Attack > Heavy Attack > 2 Basic Attacks
Q > R > E >

Outro – Places enemies in stasis for a few seconds, slowing their actions significantly.

Lumingloss (Podcast 4-star) – ATK – Increases Basic and Heavy Attack damage by 20% for 10 seconds after using Resonance Skill.

Echo Skill (Q) – Spectro – Mourning Aix – Transform and attack twice before increasing Spectro and Resonance Liberation Damage by 12% for 15 seconds.
