The Power Flamethrower Scrapper for Open World PvE is an engineer build that has high amounts of barrier from the scrapper and alchemy traits so that dodging is not necessary so you can pelt your enemies with the Flamethrower relentlessly.

There are three different weapon sets to choose between. Swap to your Hammer when initially engaging or attacking single targets in melee range, the Flamethrower for more spread-out clumps of enemies in mid-range, or the Mortar Kit when attacking from far away. This gives you plenty of versatility to keep attacking enemies no matter what kind of formation you are against.

You gain Quickness and Stability when disabling enemies, so it is important to weave in CCs to upkeep your stability so you can’t be interrupted while using your combos. These include the Hammer 5, the Hammer 3 when used in a lightning field (Hammer 5, Shredder Gyro Tool Belt, or Function Gyro) for a daze finisher, the Blast Gyro, the Shredder Gyro’s tool belt skill, and the Flamethrower 3. Also the Flamethrower 4 and 5 will each give stability and quickness so they will be useful in the rotation.

Alchemy grants sustain over time just by staying in kits or barrier by doing combo finisher leaps or blasts in combo fields. It is important to do these combos in between your heavy damaging skills. One important combo is blast finishing a lightning field (Hammer 5, Shredder Gyro Tool Belt, or Function Gyro) with the Flamethrower 2 to give Swiftness which will help you move faster but also give damage modifiers due to the Scrapper trait Object in Motion.

• Hammer 5 > 3 > 2 > Hammer 1111
• Blast Gyro > Shredder Gyro > Shredder Gyro Tool Belt > Flamethrower 2 > 1111
• Flamethrower 3 > Function Gyro > 2 > 4 > 5 > 1111
