The Staff Catalyst is an Open World build that enables the Staff weapon to deal more focused damage because the Jade Spheres can supplement the more burst-oriented staff skills while also creating many combo fields and finishers to create synergistic effects. This build can handle a variety of situations because of how many spell effects it has access to such as hitting a large boss to controlling multitudes of enemies. It can also provide boons and support to allies through the Jade Spheres.

If possible place the Jade Spheres in the middle of yourself and your enemy to gain the effect of the boons while also dealing damage. Always prioritize the Air Jade Sphere on yourself because it grants Quickness, allowing you to rotate through your skills much more smoothly. Make sure to aim at least one of your Jade Spheres or Water Fields around your Water 2 and Earth 2 as they provide the combos to grant you auras and extra stats from the passive trait Elemental Empowerment.

• Fire 2 > 3 > Glyph of Storms > Fire 2 > Fire 5 > Jade Sphere
• Swap Air > Jade Sphere > 2
• Swap Water > Jade Sphere > 2 > 4 > 5
• Swap Earth > Jade Sphere > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5
• Swap Fire and restart
  

Alternatives

• Jade Bot Core: for extra vitality
• Stats: Mix Marauder/Dragon stats for more vitality but at least a base of 45% critical chance is suggested
