These challenges can only be activated on the Private instance. Head into the red flag shown in the minimap and talk to Veadh to activate them. The challenges are the following:

• Recall the Vigil strike teams. (Adds a timer to the mission)
• Recall the Order of Whispers infiltrators. (Makes all enemy minions stronger)
• Recall the Priory enchanters. (Makes enemy champions stronger)

Complete a total of 10 Dragon Response Missions. This is not limited daily but it is more efficient to space out this achievement to also gain the daily rewards.

Shooting Stars – 1AP

Defeat the champion harpy destroyer without getting hit by any meteors while the champions challenge is active on the Gendarran Fields Dragon Response Mission. This can be easily achieved through the use of mounts to get to the rooftops of the Ascalon Settlement and using ranged attacks from the safety of the rooftops to finish the boss. There may be issues in completing this achievement alongside doing the achievement to complete the mission with all three challenges activated. As long as the rooftop strategy does not sacrifice too much DPS you can do both at the same time.

Poultry Protector (Hidden) – 0AP

During the pre-event when you have to escort and rescue villagers, look for a chicken villager, you will need to carry it to the safe zone. Do this on every Dragon Response Mission listed on the achievement.

NOTE: .The exact location of the chickens seems to be slightly moved sometimes, so instead showing you the location, I recommend you use the keybind “Show Allies Names” which by default is Left Alt.

To earn this achievement you need to defeat the destroyer champion boss (The Third Fortress) in the Fields of Ruin Dragon Response Mission, without getting hit by any flame shockwave while the challenge “Final Boss” is active.

The third challenge needs to be active: Recall the Priory enchanters. (Makes enemy champions stronger)

No More Sacrifices – 1AP

In the Lake Doric Dragon Response Mission, defeat the champion boss without letting him sacrifice any villager, while the challenge “Final Boss” is active.

The third challenge needs to be active: Recall the Priory enchanters. (Makes enemy champions stronger)

You will need to break the defiance bar when his health reach 75%, 50% and 25%. Use CC skills as soon you can and you will stop the channeling process which will sacrifice the villagers.

For this collection you need to craft all 16 weapons. Once you buy the recipe you can normally craft each one of these weapons. However once you do, you will get an Unfinished Weapon.

In order to complete the weapon, you need to double click the item while inside a Dragon Response Mission and you will gain a special skill called “Dragon Forger”.

As you can read in the tooltip, you need to use this skill on the final boss after breaking the defiance bar (the CC bar). You need to do it at melee range and instantly after you hit, you will earn the completed weapon.

NOTE: If you need to complete an Unfinished Crimson Weapon you need to do it in a Dragon Response Mission with destroyer enemies.

Azure Dragon Slayer Weapon Collector – 20AP

For this collection you need to craft all 16 weapons. Once you buy the recipe you can normally craft each one of these weapons. However once you do, you will get an Unfinished Weapon.

In order to complete the weapon, you need to double click the item while inside a Dragon Response Mission and you will gain a special skill called “Dragon Forger”.

Follow the same instructions as the Crimson Weapons but for Azure you need to do it in a Dragon Response Mission with enemies under Jormag influence.

Story Instance: Wildfire

During the instance where you play as Braham, you need to kill most of the Destroyer minions in the path, I’m not really sure which is the exact number, so to be sure is recommended that you kill every single one.

NOTE: It seems the number is “less than 5 alive” but not completely accurate.

NOTE: This achievement and the next one are mutually exclusive, you will need to run the instance two times.

Silent as Leopard, Clever as Raven – 3AP
Story Instance: Wildfire

This achievement is the opposite of the one above, you need to avoid killing the Destroyer minions in the path, not sure if you can kill a few and still get credit so I recommend that you avoid all of them.

NOTE: It seems the number is “less than 5 killed” but not completely accurate.

There’s Always a Greater Destroyer – 3AP
Story Instance: Wildfire

During the fight with the Champion Destroyer you need to break his CC bar for the achievement. You will only see the CC once you enter the Wolf form. You need to use the skill #4 a few times, once you leave the Wolf form, and re-enter, the CC bar will keep the same progress.

To earn this achievement you need to keep all Flame Legion legionnaires alive while defending the Flame Citadel during the Fireheart Rise Dragon Response Mission, while the challenge “Powerful Foes” is active.

The second challenge needs to be active: Recall the Order of Whispers infiltrators. (Makes all enemy minions stronger)

To do this I recommend that you have a full party or at least 3 players, split and kill the enemies as soon they appear, avoiding the NPC to get aggro, and a healer will also help.

Tide Turner Achievements

During a Dragon Response Mission, aid each recruited faction at least once while a challenge is active. For this you need to talk with the NPCs at start with the Red and Blue flags. Veadh (Red Flag) to activate a challenge, can be one or all challenges, then talk with Meradh (Blue Flag) to recruit the specific faction that you need, this has a cost of 10 Tyrian Defense Seals. Complete the mission to get progress. If you don’t recruit a faction at the start, you will get a random one.

Each Dragon Response Mission will have different factions required to complete the achievement.

Collection Achievements – 5AP

Cloaked in Scales – 5AP

---

Collect the necessary materials to complete the Dragonscale Cape. You need to collect five items for this, and of course the reward is the ascended back item “Dragonscale Cape”.

• Dragon Eye Infusion Box

You can obtain one of these by completing the “Champions” Mastery achievement.

---

• Vial of Unfreezing Leather Oil

Purchased from a rally provisioner at Grothmar Valley for 1000 Hatched Chilli and 20 Tonics of Icebrood Corruption. West of Wardowns Waypoint – [&BPgLAAA=] .

The Chillis can be obtained from gathering nodes around Grothmar Valley as well as completing events there.

The Mystic Forge recipe for the Tonic is the following:

• 25 Shard of Crystallized Blood of Jormag
• 25 Shard of Crystallized Blood of Jormag
• 20 Glob of Ectoplasm
• 25 Lump of Glass

NOTE: This recipe will create ONE tonic, repeat 20 times. You can get the Shards of Crystallized Blood of Jormag from Drizzledwood Coast meta-events mostly or can also be purchased from the Trading Post.

• Eitrite Chain Links

Purchased from Anette Eymundrdottir in Bjora Marches for 1000 Eitrite Ingots and 15000 War Supply. Right next to Jora’s Keep Waypoint – [&BCcMAAA=] .

The War Supply are obtained from Drizzlewood Coast events, and the Eitrite Ingots can be obtained from Strike Missions, chests around Bjora Marches or crafting once you unlock the recipe.

• Prismaticite Clasp

Purchased from any quaestor at Drizzlewood Coast for 10 Prismatium Ingot and 250 Pile of Lucent Crystal. West of Base Camp Waypoint – [&BGQMAAA=] .

Prismatium Ingots can be crafted using Prismaticite Crystals once you unlock the recipe or ultimately can be bought from the Trading Post, and the Pile of Lucent Crystal can be refined from Lucent Motes which are obtained by salvaging runes or sigils, but can also be bought from the Trading Post.

Purchased from Crystallographer Smoxxi in the Eye of the North for 5 Amalgamated Draconic Lodestones and 5 Stormcaller Core. Right next to Eye of the North Waypoint – [&BAkMAAA=] .

Amalgamated Draconic Lodestones can be purchased from the Trading Post or made with the following Mystic Forge Recipes:

Dragonstorm Achievements

---

These achievements have their own category under the General category, you can do these in the story mode, the public instance or the private squad instance. However you can’t replay the story mode (you could if you play the entire episode again which is not the best option), so in order to complete most of the achievements you have to do it in Public or Private (Squad) instance. Due to the lower difficulty on the story, some mechanics like the CC bar on the champions elite skill won’t be available on the story mode.

Dragonstorm is a “World Boss” instance, you can start it at any time if you make a squad or join one, but there is also a Public instance as an event in Eye of the North every 2 hours like a World Boss.

Aurene Said Knock You Out – 2AP

During the Dragonstorm encounter, defeat both dragon champions at least once. You will get this achievement automatically as you progress the story.

Coalescence Disburser – 1AP

Slay the veteran coalescence during the Dragonstorm encounter. You need to kill 25 veteran sparks in total. These veterans spawn all around the instance during the leyline phase which is right after the cutscene where both dragons come out. You can delay killing the leylines to essentially farm the sparks if you are in a group that doesn’t mind failing the event timer to complete this achievement. The sparks have a short leash range so you can’t pull them too far, but generally you should look for a group of 3 sparks near each other to pull together and then AoE them all down at once. You can get all 25 in one instance if you dedicate the entire timer to farming the sparks efficiently.

Cooler than Cool – 5AP – 1MP

During the Dragonstorm encounter, dodge the Breath of Jormag attack. You need to dodge the attack a total of 25 times. You will easily see the attack to dodge which is a huge ice with a wide AoE area. You must dodge when the beam crosses the area you are in so timing is important, or dodge the ice spikes. You can even multi dodge this if you have multiple evades and dodge backwards with the beam. A Thief with Dagger Storm, for example, can farm this achievement quickly.

Double (Elder) Dragon – 16AP – 1MP

Defeat Primordus and Jormag champions a total of 10 times during the Dragonstorm encounter. You need simply to complete the instance 10 times.

Fast Fire and Frost Fighter – 4AP

Destroy all ley siphons within 120 seconds during the Dragonstorm encounter. You need to destroy all six ley siphons under 2 minutes. These siphons will spawn right after the first phase when you defeat both champions, use your mounts and split your group.

During the Dragonstorm encounter, prevent Primordus champion from using his elite skill a total of 10 times. This happens in the second phase, you will notice that Braham gains a defiance bar, you need to actively use your CC skills to get credit and break the bar.

During the Dragonstorm encounter, attack Primordus a total of 30 times while he is exposed. After each phase, you will see the message where the dragons are vulnerable, go to the prism and you will fly towards the dragon, then simply use your special action skill.

Skritt Hot – 5AP – 1MP

During the Dragonstorm encounter, dodge Primordus’ Apocalypse Rain attack. You need to dodge the attack a total of 25 times. You will notice while fighting Braham, that Primordus will often look off to the side and grab a large boulder with his mouth and will crush it and throw the pieces at you. Angle your camera upwards so you can see when Primordus looks off to the side, then prepare to look for the orange circles on ground where these rocks will land. The further circles will land later so you have more time to get to and react to them. Keep your camera angled upwards to know the timings to dodge them.
