Condition DPS Berserker Build

GW2. Raid Build. Condition DPS Berserker. Warrior PvE.

Last Update: September 2023

Overview

The Condition DPS Berserker is a warrior build that is great for fights where you need ranged or cleave damage due to its piercing projectiles and large AoE fields. It prioritizes landing Primal Bursts with the large amounts of adrenaline it gains from the Discipline traits, and can provide quickness to its group with one small trait change.

Playstyle

Role: DPS

While inside Berserk Mode (F2) you will get access to Primal Bursts which deal much more damage, so the aim is to extend your Berserk Mode as long as you can hit the target.

Skill Priorities:

Headbutt to get full adrenaline at the start and be able to immediately enter Berserk Mode. Prioritize using Primal Burst skills (F1) on each weapon as well as Longbow 2/5 or Torch 5.

Use the Rage utilities, Torch skills, or Primal Bursts (categorized as Berserker skills) to trigger the King of Fires trait when you have a Fire Field to apply extra burning. You can gain these Fire Auras by using leap finishers like the Sword 2 or just passively by critting.

Only use the Blood Reckoning right after the Longbow burst because it uses less animation time than the Sword burst so you can use the second one immediately after.

All Rage skills extend the duration of Berserk Mode so try to use them as soon as you have time to. Staying in Berserk Mode is a huge DPS increase compared to not being in it.

Example Rotation:

Opener: Torch 5 >Sword 2 > Headbutt > F2 > Sword F1 > Swap

Berserk Mode:

  1. Longbow F1 > 2 > 5 > Shattering Blow > Outrage > Wild Blow > F1 > Blood Reckoning > F1 > Swap
  2. Sword F1 > Torch 4 > (Torch 5 if up) > Sword 2 > F1 > Swap

Keep swapping between the weapons to maximize the number of Primal Bursts while filling in the gaps between weapon swap/burst cooldowns with Rage/Fire Aura combos as well as the heavy hitting Longbow 2/5 and Torch 4 or Sword 3 (when target is below 50%).

  1. Is this build still viable? I haven’t seen any comment here and in youtube link both.
