Role: DPS

The Power Virtuoso DPS is a mesmer build with heavy burst damage in melee from the Spear and more sustained damage from range with the Dagger.

Use shatters (F1-5) only when at 5 blades. Prioritize using the F1 first since it does more damage, and only use the F2 or F5 if you can get enough blades to use another when F1 comes off cooldown.

The Spear 2 is your main damage and does more damage when hitting enemies at the edge of the range indicator. Also landing the Spear 2 will empower the next spear skill you use, which you want to invest in the Spear 4 to make it summon an extra phantasm. Spear 5 will also recharge Spear 2 but you don’t want to use it right after because empowering it only adds a stun. Use your Heal skill Signet of the Ether to recharge your Spear 4 for a second use.

Swap to Dagger while waiting for the Spear burst and use the Sword 5 for the damage modifier right before swapping back to Spear. Use Thousand Cuts off cooldown or save it for during the Spear burst when the Sword and F1 buffs are active.

Skill Priority:

• F1 > F2 > F5 (only at 5 Blades)

Swap Weapons when the cooldown is ready and the Phantasm/2 skills have just been used

• Dagger 2 > 3 > Sword 5
• Spear 2 > 4 > 5 > 2 > Heal > 4 > 2

Use Utility Skills in between skill and weapon swap cooldowns to fill the gap so you can minimize the amount you auto attack.
