The Power Rifle Deadeye is a Roamer thief PvP build that puts out tons of burst damage to single targets with the rifle and cantrips to gain stealth for the Death’s Judgment. While it is very mobile, it is mostly projectiles which can be countered by line-of-sight and reflects.

Use Kneeling Rifle 4 to create a Sniper’s Cover, walking into this will change your Rifle 4 into a port which will stealth you. Constantly use this combo to travel around the map safely. An easy way to always place the Sniper’s Cover below you is to put your mouse over UI (skill clicking counts as this) and use the ability which will place it underneath you and instantly allow the stealth combo.

Dodging will also grant you stealth while wielding the rifle and stealth will allow you to use the Death’s Judgment (Rifle 1) to burst targets, dealing more to targets you have generated malice on. Malice is generated by hitting the target you marked with your F1 with skills that cost initiative. Critical hits with these skills generates twice as much malice.

Another way to enter stealth is by using the stolen ability (F2) you get from marking a target (F1) while you have at least 5 malice against a target. You can also gain these stolen abilities by casting cantrip utility skills. Since Mercy resets your F1 and gives you a stolen ability, always use F2 right after Mercy so that you don’t overwrite the stolen ability on your F1 which you just recharged.

The Shadow Gust utility skill can also be a great CC because it knocks enemies away from you, and your marked target will be launched, CCing them for a long enough time to land your burst combo. It can also move downed bodies, preventing them from being revived.

  1. Is this up to date? Sept 2023
    If so I’m curious as to why you pick Maleficent 7 over Be Quick of be killed. From my (limited) experience it feels like landing Death’s Judgement is a little unreliable to land. Isn’t the flat buffs better?

    • flat buffs that only last 2 seconds? If you get stolen into by a deadeye and then dodge, you already avoided most of that buff

  2. I’m confused how fireworks relic works when none of the thief weappn abilities have a cooldown

    • Fireworks triggers off of the activation of Deadeye’s Mark, works the same way w/ steal on daredevil/core or siphon on specter.
